Restaurant NY Bar

Halfway down the block to Avenida Central is the NY Bar & restaurant. You go in and it smells and looks like it is in NYC. It is dark, and quiet, though I hear they have live music a couple of nights a week.

I have only been there for lunch a couple of times and have stayed with the basic bar food type fare. Cheeseburgers are decent the beer is cold and if you want to shoot down the block and get away from the Del Rey with your favorite lady very quick, and not get hurt price wise this is your spot.

Cash only, though I cant be certain of that. Typical shot and beer type bar right in downtown San Jose. For a quickie try it out, not bad and the prices are very inexpensive.

True judging by the smell walking past NYB is now a huge public urinal for every bum in the gulch.

Ah, "sic transit gloria mundi," I miss the place and the skanky ambiance.
