FIRST, YOU CAN NO LONGER TRUST THE STAFF THERE!!!!! the girls are still great there. drink prices have now been reduced. the Rate is $35.00 for an hour if you stay there! They also charge Guest fee of $10 if you bring a girl in! THE CLEANING STAFF WILL ROB YOU!!! My buddy and I went to Jaco beach for a day and appearantely someone took his Credit Card and used it to purchase $1000 dollars in stuff, and then returned the card as if nothing happened know we will be gone the whole day!! My friend recieved a call from American Express regarding the charges, AND ALL THE CHARGES OCCURED WHILE WE WERE AT THE BEACH!!!!!...The new owner said he doubted that his staff is that smart!! WTF???? The staff is very unhappy with the new management.....BOTH ED AND ROGER HAVE QUIT!!! BETTER TO STAY AT DUNN INN NOW!!!!! At leat they give you breakfast for the same price...and don't charge guest fees for CRT card holders!!!

Interesting. Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking of booking there, but now with this and few other stuff, I have booked the room at Dunn Inn at this point.

I agree with you that's what I told him...he should have secured hi stuff better.....@ NF 40 bucks for an hour with 1 and 70bucks with 2 is a bargain..but it just depends on the talent level that day!!

so is there more to this....? did you find out where they used the card at ....who was able to get into your room ? this should be a bussiness killer for them....I was there this weekend at least once a day to check in and see what the line up was....I did notice the cleaning girl ....really not bad looking !! please share the rest of the story (if there is any)

Yes they tracked to a local supermarket called price mart....I asked the owner who was cleaning on sunday...should be an easy task...but american express said they can check the cameras at the store....I figure whoever did it isn't that stupid. They probably gave the card to someone to use and then brought it back...he said they aren't that smart!!

Again my friend should secured his stuff better!! But for someone to check his pockets pull out his wallet take the Gold Am. Express, use it and put it back! I think he has a problem!! Maybe he should install cameras there!!! I've been there 4 times and this some b.s.

Oh....and Ironically From what I heard...a couple of weeks back..some guys came in dressed as local cops and held them up!!

2500 colones now...its was 3000 before and do a happy hour from 5-7 two for one... The rooms are actually VERY, VERY nice. Some have steam rooms, saunas and jacuzzi in them!! Some have a window wall that you can see into the shower!! If you catch my drift!!

Not trying to pour gasoline on a roaring fire but this is exactly why you alert CC companies about CR trips. I hope for a reasonable resolution to this problem (don't CC companies limit fraud damage to $50?) and thanks for the head's-up to a situation. Guess I can cross HLH off my list--not that they were ever on on it.

If you are referring to Pricesmart there is a problem. Pricesmart is a membership warehouse operation. When checking out you must give them your membership card and if you are using a credit card the name on the credit card and the name on the membership card must match or they require you to pay cash.
