Hi Guys,

New to the forum because i'm hoping to visit CR later this year. I've been hearing mixed reports about the current quality level of girls in both the Del Rey and SJO in general. One guy I know from Pattaya who used to be a CR regular until he discovered Pattaya, recently went back and gave the current quality a scathing report, saying that most of the girls are old and fat with muffin tops!

I'm not too fussed on the old reference as he doesn't take anyone over 24, but it's the overweight muffin top comment that has me wondering. If he's comparing them to the tiny Thai's then I can ignore him.

So how do you guys find the current quality around?

Quality is in the eye of the beholder, but I'll give my two cents.

There are a lot of working women with loads of miles on them, especially if you do the massage parlor thing. I feel there are a lot better options for mongering in Latin America than Costa Rica. I think the accessibility from the states is why it is so popular, it's cheap and quick to fly to.

All this being said, I still choose to live here and love me some Tica

I agree it's in the eye of the beholder. Personally I don't mind girls up to 40, and I love curves. And besides I want some Latina experiences! The argentine scene didn't do anything for me. I've heard Medellin has a booming scene.

I'm really looking at either DR, CR or Venezuela. or I can get a decent priced flight back to Thailand from Dallas, but that would be a last resort!

What would be the 'better' places you speak of?

The scene at the Del Rey is still good! I was last there over the Christmas and into New Years Holiday, and yes it was down some but that was only because most of the foreign girls went home for the holidays. I was there for Halloween and the talent was incredible. For the most part I only go with the girls who are under the age of 25, and i have never had an issue with the talent at the Del Rey.

He was there for Christmas and New Year so that might explain it!

No, Its been on like Donkey Kong lately. Maybe I have just improved my game or gotten less timid but you name it and it's been happening lately. Good times.

late 09 early 10 .....I was over san jose ......had I trip, when I was in the middle of my trip and was ready to go home...just running into the same games with the girls .....and running into drunk knuckleheads at DR ( one guy wanted to fight , due to me telling him he was on a tute table not blackjack) but then my trip over super bowl last year (I had planned it with a buddy so it was on ) great trip ....great girls and fun times !!! my last 3 trips were 3 of my best ,,,,I am back to loving san jose and with a trip scheduled in 6 days ....I can only hope it will be the same

CR is what you make of it. I have never not been able to find a suitable chica.

Was there 11th-17th and the quality was great as well as quantity

Yeah lately instead of being afraid to 'offend' them, I've quit worrying about that and even try to offend them, especially if they start pulling their tricks.

Sometimes you don't know how far you can go, until you've gone too far once or twice.

And surprisingly this has lead to the best sessions I've had in 5 years.

Comparing Asian girls to Latinas is like comparing apples to oranges, IMO. They are both good, just different.

I was just in SJO for Jan 1-10th and for the first week, things seemed a little slower then my previous visits, but that was mainly due to a lot of the girls being still at home for the holidays. By the time I left on the 10th it seemed like everyone was back in full working mode, including a lot of Niccas and Colombians. DelRey was a zoo because of the hotel being full with gringo tour groups and what not, but the KL was pretty slow in the evenings until after 11pm or so. I did notice that the quality of the girls in the KL seemed to have gone up, while that at the DelRey was a little lower. There seemed to be more slim, 20-something hotties at the KL, while some tubbies were hanging out at the DelRey, which was opposite what it was like when I was last there in May. Back then, it seemed like the HDR management "nudged" the not-so-hot talent across the street. I only went to the SL twice but both times there was a nice selection (although they too had a few hefty girls parked at tables as well)

Yea...mongering in Pattaya is def easier than in Costa Rica... Not tryin to start a pillow fight here, jus sayin'..

You can't really compare anywhere in Thailand to Costa Rica as it's a completely different animal... I would pick LBFM's every time over CR chicas, but there is that flight to the other side of the planet... CR is much closer and cheaper to get to than SEA... Yeah, I've beat the path to SEA to death over the last few years, but my last few trips have been to CR... For me it's a 3 hours flight to CR as apposed to 22 to Bangkok...

There's enough talent in CR to keep a monger happy... Even one that's been spoiled by the sweet sirens sound of "Hello Hansum Man, where you go"...

I've been to SEA about 10 times. I always enjoy it, but after my last trip to Pattaya (I've gone all over SEA) I got back and was actually a little bored with the "sameness" of it all. I've never been to CR so on Feb. 8 I'm flying down from San Francisco for a week. I don't haver super high excpectations, but for half the flight cost, less wear and tear getting there and back, and the chance to experience a whole different country ( I always love the cultural stuff and tourist stuff, too wherever I go) I thought CR would ge a fun diversion for 7 days. For less than half the money (as I usually go to SEA for 10 to 17 days) I'm sure I'll have fun. Hell, if there were NO cute women, I'd probably still have a blast...just not as good of a blast.

I'm always pretty fortunate, though. I treat the women like "people" and I almost always get rewarded beyond my expectations both in bed and in other ways. It also just makes me feel good to treat them nicely.

"I go you upstairs" is what the Soi 6'ers love to hear!! ahh, those lbfm's are great!

Being an Aussie it's only a 9 hour flight (which by Australian standards is short) to Pattaya so
I'm more spoiled in that way.
