so i got a phonecall last nite from my recruitor saying a job opened up if i wanted it and could leave for boot camp next week instead of july.....but i turned it down.....so costa we're still on for june 22-27.....then boot camp july 13......need another taste of pura vida if u know what i mean.....if i didnt just go to costa for the first time i'd prolly had taken the job change.....these chicas will do a number on you....

First off, hats off to you for what you'll be doing in July.
Over 40 years ago, when I was about to go in, I didn't even know about Costa Rica. What a trip that would have been!
If boot camp is anything like it used to be, you want to sow all the oats you can before entering. Have a great time here in my adopted country and you'll have faboulos memories to get you through.

thanks guys i appreciate it.....i look at it like this i get 30 days leave a year so plenty of trips to CR.....and i'll be retired at 44.....besides in the navy i'll get to see all kinds of exotic destinations like thailand and australia.......

and by the way during 2months of boot camp i wont have any access to this site so i better come back to some great stories to catch up on
