Boyd has been after me to show me the project at the Dunn Inn that is very nearly finished now. (official opening Super Bowl Sunday with a full spread party and CRT poker tournament)

I didn't get to see the rooms because they were all occupied, but if they are nearly as beautiful as the bar and casino area, they are beautiful. The bar and casino are even better than the accolades many guys have talked about here. The main bar area is very large, with high ceilings. There are several flat screen TVs to watch and place bets on the games. The casino room is kind of small with 2 poker tables and one blackjack table. It's small but still comfortable.

The draw for the success for the place depends on how successful they are in having the local " providers" coming in to work. Boyd is certainly working at it.

my question is .....for the girls to want to come there and work ,,,they need or want a few things ....1. are there guys buying 2. is there an area where they can sit and wait ..and not be chased away (that's one of the reasons they like sportmens) 3. is it costing them money to work ...(is the staff making them buy drinks ..sodas or coffee whatever for sitting at the tables) how are they treated ....is there a guard that picks on them or always after free pu*sy ) from what I can see ( i was there 3 months ago) there not much room for girls to hang or sit ...maybe that has changed ...trust me with san jose being my #1 choice of going on vacation places ...I want this place to work.....

I say this in all seriousness, is there somebody at the door to make sure that hot chicas are coming in and the place won't be filled with gorditas looking for a free meal?

What I liked best from the description is the changability of the main floor--loose arrangement for Game Days; a bit tighter when a dance floor is needed. Really great design and superior execution.

I think we would do well to trust that boyd fella, he knows what he's doing. The Dunn Inn was nice before the new additions. Truthfully the only thing this will change is maybe we wont have to travel 6 blocks to HDR. and they will be quality control team helping us out. Do your research DUNN INN is one of best choices. Would this be a bad time to ask if there's going to be much of a rate increase?

The rooms are $55 for standard, $65 for the deluxe queens and 90 to 126 for the new rooms. These prices are all after taxes and discounts. I believe you will find then very reasonable for the quality.

Boyd...How late will the restaurant and bar be open? What about room service?

This place is really nice and clean with a good layout. Haven't tried the food yet.

I am arriving this week in the mid evening and hope to be settled into my hotel and have it secured by 9:30-9:45. Normally, I would head over to the SL grab a drink make a lap around the bar for familiar faces and check out the talent. Unless something changes my mind I would then go to KL because of the time.

My question is - Is it worth a detour to the Dunn Inn to look at the eye candy? Or is there nothing of quantity or quality at this point in time?

Yes, please post if there is talent at the Dunn. I'm coming Feb 9 and really intrigued about the new setup there.

Hoping Dunn is a good place to pick 'em up!

Considering the Dunn Inn next time I visit. I prefer a larger room (king bed) but more importantly I prefer the room to be very dark so I can sleep in. Any room recommendations would be appreciated, King Room and limited windows to allow light in.
Thanks

What are the hours for the bar and casino?
Are the poker tables getting filled up yet with players?
