Anyone know what hotels in SJ have 2 bedrooms for a decent price? Me and a friend are going next month and we were gonna get separate rooms, but are debating on getting maybe a suite somewhere which would have 2 bedrooms. We both agreed we'd want some privacy.. So which hotels have decently priced suites with 2 bedroms.. Any info would be appreciated. I did some research but its finding to be a little time consuming, figured I'd ask you guys before I start calling a bunch of hotels. Thanks in advance ~ Gixxer

Forget the suite. Get 2 separate rooms. You'll have more privacy and the chicas won't be uncomfortable. If this is a financial decision, you don't save anything by getting a suite. They are usually higher than 2 separate rooms.

The Hotel Del Rey had room 607 that has a door to 609. That is their best rooms with a balcony.

The Freebird Has their best suits with a connecting door.

The Sportsmans Lodge has a 2 bedroom suite, (I think). May or may not have rooms with a connecting door. I don't know.

I agree that separate rooms is the way to go. You can stay at the Castillo in separate rooms for the cost of a suite. Very cool older hotel right in the middle of the action with a great outside bar.

Also, check out the Freebird. Its very economical, too, and right around the corner from the Del Rey.

Not sure what you mean by "decent price" but, Wi-Fi issues aside, Oso Grande at the SL has 2 bedrooms. Runs abut $150 + tax p/night.

for around 150 dollars each, you and your buddy could rent an entire floor at the Hotel Nuevo Johnson.

:D

Should have done a little more research but I made a few calls and availability of suites were limited at a lot of hotels.. Got lucky and the Dunn Inn suite was available all 4 nights.. I may have jumped the gun but I did reserve it.
