Will check this a bit later. Leaving soon for SJ and my travel agent here is no where to be found this weekend or today. Imagine that, a Tica not keeping regular hours. So, I need to find a place near the gulch if possible to buy a ticket for Nica land manana. Anybody know of a spot in the gulch. I will be in the area today and tonight. Or, if I can't find something close I can always go to the terminal. Thanks in advance.

I don't know if this is a ticket office or what but it says Ticabus in the window.

On Calle 9 just south of Ave 2, there is a place just before the white church. It looks like a ticket office or something.

If you are walking on calle 9 (aka paseo de estudiantes) from Ave 2, it will be on your left side (last store front before the church (iglesia de soledad))

Look at the very left in this photo, you'll see the top of a reddish building, I think that's the place I'm talking about. Again, I'm not 100% sure it's a ticket office. I just remember seeing Ticabus signs in the window.

Thanks Orange, appreciate the help. :D Fortunately, my ride from Jaco is leaving a little late, so I was able to get the ticket here.

Tica Bus moved from the location Orange mentioned well over a year ago. They are now located on ave 3 calle 26. This link lists all their ticket locations.

I think they re-opened it; the one next to the Iglecia Soledad off of Ave 2 on Calle 9, across from the old Arte y Sauna. I walked in a couple of months ago and they were open.
