Amnet advertises that they have CNBC on channel 77. Not so "yet" as 77 has Bloomberg instead. AMCost Rica quoted them as saying that it is a "glitch" which was to have been fixed. It's still showing Bloomberg and it sucks. CNBC has some decent programming like "American Greed" and it's supposed to be on the basic package.

Don't you guys got buddies in the US of A that can maintain a Slingbox set up so you watch decent TV down there? The costs are MARGINAL....the advantages....simply too numerous to list.

Get a USED slingbox off of Ebay for around $50.00. Have your buddy hook the slingbox up to both his/her cable/DirectTV/DISH connection and their HIGH SPEED internet connection via the router they all come with these days. THEY will go thru a very user easy/friendly set up process and SNAP!!!!! YOU can watch THEIR cable/sat connection on your computer in Costa Rica: Connect an output cable from the PC or Laptop to your TV in CR....BANG! YOU IS WATCHING REAL TV. YOU have the remote...so YOU control the channels AND whatever DVR is built into their system. Me? What is Fox News? It been DELETED a long time back given the cunts they use to tits and ass attempt to lull my ass into switching from being a "fellow traveler"....and a card carrying member.....of........nevermind.....

For even better connections.....the same thing above will produce a VERY HIGH QUALITY 1080p HDTV signal for your HDTV there in Costa Rica.....that is using the SlingCatcher. We're all rich....these are nickle and dime work arounds for an absurd "cable television" outfit in CR.

You know I try to never pass judgement on what someone posts, with the exception of this post. You are 100% wrong! Fox News leans to the right, just as CNN tries (but does not succeed) for an unbiased center of the road approach, MSNBC has a marked and admitted leftist tilt and the 3 Dinosaur news media outlets are all staffed by liberal reporters and commentators and although they won't admit it, they all lean left.

As for talking to people outside the U.S., gee, I wish I was as worldly as you I have traveled to about 30 different countries and have conversed with lots of different folks, the most interesting are those in Europe as they benefit from the security that the U.S. provides and therefore, like to delude themselves that they could afford to be socialists; they are now coming to find out that they can't as they are running out of other peoples money to spend. As for the folks in Latin America and other parts of the less developed world, most are dying to come to the U.S.A.
