Wow BK, thats too bad, Nixon was a really good guy (atleast he was good to me). I guess they just wanted to get away from putas in the lobby? I know in a 12 month period, I dropped atleast $5-6k plus a lil gambling and food, a lot of room service for the chicas (I used to bail hay as a 12yr old K*D. Farmer always fed his help. I take the same logic with my "help"). I know that's chump change to them but you multiply that by the # of mongers there, and there were several each time, that adds up, A LOT. Its not like they are going to attract more eco tourists because mongers/putas are not there. Atleast, not enough to make up the difference. I guess it is a Tico logic thing
OTOH, isn't the hotel owned by non-tico's?
