My son is a USAF Major, B-1 Pilot and now a T-38 PIT Instructor, was born on Veteran's Day. He wanted to be a military pilot from the the first time he looked up and saw a plane.

So next year his b'day will be 11/11/11 = 33 Raro!

One thing that is definitely cool is that tons of restaurants offer free meals to Vets on Veterans Day. I went to AppleBees yesterday and had a really good bacon cheese burger. Although they offer 8 or so different entrées, sometime you just feel like a burger Anyway, it beats crappy army chow any day of the week, especially if that is basically all you have had to eat for a while. It actually makes you feel a little special on a day that doesn't get enough attention. Thanks to all my fellow vets for your service!!:D
