Does anyone know if the roads from SJO to Jaco are open? About to board a plane in Atlanta and the reports don't look good. This maybe an poorly timed trip.

Thanks...

I heard this morning that the new highway is closed, but is passable on the old route, the aguacate. I'm thinking that this system should be moving out in the next 24 hours..

Taking the Augacate Highway is very scenic, windy, dangerous and long, paraticularly after you have taken the new pista, or at least took it when it is was open.
