Sorry if this was covered, but, WIFI in the castillo? What's the word on that?

It's available. The base station is on the first floor by the computer in the lounge area, so I don't know what kind of signal, if any at all, you'll get upstairs or in the new wing.

I'm in room 23 right now and using the WiFi on my laptop, it's working great....also slept soundly....and I left the windows open all night....Nice room.

Aside from the guy who told the chica about your posts, how was your stay and trip?

There is also another WiFi router under the cover near the breakfast/back bar area (look up). That helps cover the new wing of the hotel.

Yes.....the cat's name is Katia. She is a pet of the maids. Very nice cat. While napping in the afternoon with the door open, she would come lie on the bed with me and nap, as well. It was her lucky day.....the day she happened upon the Castillo.

Castillo is got to be the best place I have ever stayed on a budget. Daren the manager is great the service is good and the maids do a great job cleaning your room. Today I needed some coffee to recover and the next thing was what room are you in I will bring it to you fresh. For people that need action and noise 24-7 this is not for you. This is for someone that likes to relax after a hard day or night. Looking out the back of the property I feel I am in the country. Then a 5 minute walk from the front I am in Sportsmans, DR or ZB depending on the direction I take. I have used a cab once in 5 days because the girls were too tired to walk here.

Also, they have a bar food menu till midnight, apparently alot of folks dont know this.....you can get good food late. Alot of folks complain about Las Palmas, but the food has always been good for me. Where else do you get food that late in the area? No where.

The food has been on and off for me. I am going to try the BBQ tonight here and will post on it. I do remember one night it was late and we did not want to go out the late meal was very good.
