From personal experience I would say they would have no problem in approaching someone about what they said. And again from personal experience there doesn't seem to be a problem in the figuring out who you are.

I have always contended that some chicas read the board and most chicas who have been around for awhile know about the board. At the very least they know about it.

Think about this: IF you were one of the chicas who, for example, works at ZB or Kamur or Scarletts or Tango..etc and saw a gringo carrying around a card that read: costaricaticas.com wouldn't you be curious if you were her? I would log on to the site and at least see what it was all about. Then, when I found out I would tell my friends. Again, does anyone agree that Ticas talk? We all agree that the quickest way to spread information is by telephone, teletype or tellatica.

I think that the idea of sending emails to various people for translation sound a bit like a conspiracy but, it's possible. VB has offered to send the info to the admins. So, I tend to believe it went down that way. The girls are extremely resourceful.


We all go by handles on here..yes. I would say lots of the guys I have met in CR know my real name. And I know the real names of lots of the guys I have met as well. I still contend that for a chica to identify you, you would have to write a very detailed report about your goings on while in CR.


This is a bit off the subject at hand but, one certain chica who is near and dear to my heart has informed me that prostitute is the correct term for the girls in the DR. We often use the term "puta." Which, allegedly, is a term for a woman who has sex with men for free.

No doubt the success of this board has made an impact on the social scene in Costa Rica. Remember, this is a FREE website. Anyone chica, priest and president can read it if they happen to come across it. I still think it is a great site because one of the greatest "tools in the toolbox" for the chicas has always been that we (gringos) are left in the dark with no reliable information about the daily goings on in CR. Just my 2 colones. Make that my 3 colones. 2 colones just ain't what it used to be.

Perhaps I didn't write my post very well,however Paco got it right. Rachel,after my asking a couple of times, gave me the first name and city of residence of the "Board member" who had the thread translated for her. She quoted much of what was said. Yes Paco,she was the chica who asked me some time ago to have her pictures removed from the site ,so it was most likely the same person who showed them to her. I see no useful purpose in giving out this info publicly. As I said,if the Admin chooses to deal with the matter with the member privately I would give him the info that I was told.

There IS a VIP forum if you don't want 'just anyone' reading your reports. I chose that route for my last TR just because of that reason.

I have seen gringos, chicos and chicas looking at this board from the machines at the DR, I don't have any illusion about the anonymity of this board.

Generally I think the sight of a VIP card or knowledge of a connection to this board generally brings positives from chicas.

When I was at Kamur having fun with Johana, I was having a great time, but when she found out Papichulo was my amigo, the fun ratcheted up a few notches. Similar response at ZB, not a big change, but there.

No doubt about it. I'll never forget the first time I whipped out my...........VIP card at ZB. The chica got a big smile on her face and the service was outstanding. My point, which I'm sure everyone understands, is that if I saw the www.costaricaticas.com and I were a service provider I would have to check it out. Just to see what it was all about.

The VIP section isnt very used, most people post in the General Information, Trip Reports, and Girl Reviews. I think perhaps Trip Reports and Girl Reviews should be VIP. This allows people to check out the site and keeps spys out.




I thought this was a board about mongering. Yes you respect the ladies. Yes you treat them nice. But you protect your wallet at all costs. You protect your valubles. Avoid untruthfull remarks about a chica but if a chica does not preform a good service, if she scams you out of money, if she is unruley and troublesome then by all means post it so that she doesnt waste yet another mongers time and especially money.



Yes which is why almost everyone here payed for VIP membership but it very hard to control the regular members, you could get banned, register with another name and continue on spying.

In my second trip I wanted to take pictures of the girl I was with, and she was reluctant about it. She told me that a few days earlier a gringo had taken a Nica friend of her to an internet cafe to show her a couple of pictures of her that had been posted on the internet (Club Hombre), and the Nica told this girl that her picture was there too.

Anyway, I did take pictures but promised her not to post them, then I found out that there were quite a few of her pictures on the internet already. I never told her about those!

Maybe some guys think that by making the girls aware of what's going on, they're gonna be the ONES!

I don't know if this is pertinent, but i'm certain that the chicas at ZB know all about this board and can easily access it. When Admin-1 was straightening out my access problems, he and I were standing next to a PC in Zona Blue. Now, I didn't see it of course, but I don't believe that Admin closed the browser after we had finished. My point is this: Many women I talked to are very aware of the Internet and the fact that many of us post reviews, comments and pictures. One provider (not from ZB) specifically asked me not to post a review of our session together.

The availability of hotel computers, Internet cafes and the like make it far more likely that the girl will eventually read this forum. She may not speak a word of English, but she can recognize the name of her employer and handle, and might be curious enough to surf to Alta Vista; it would only take a few minutes' browsing.

I am readily identifiable, both because I am blind and because my handle, "El Ciego" translates as "the blind man." Maybe I should change my handle?

Reaaly not a big deal to me as I don't usually have any drama going on with any chicas. But you hate to see it happen. And I can't really remember any members saying anything negative about a chica, unless said chica provided bad service.

Personally I have no problem with chicas joining this board and reading anything that is written on this forum. If you really think about it,how much of what is said is necessary to keep private.Those posts could be in the VIP section.Otherwise I believe that open communication would lead to better prices and services. Chicas would learn more about what we the clients like,and we could find out the concerns that the chicas have. (like getting ripped off by a client so they ask for money up front) If a chica rips us off,do we really care if she or the rest of the chicas read about it. Hell no,it will let the Tansylvania Twits out there know that we are on to her. I have participated on two different boards when I lived in the States and girls are welcome to post.It tends to make things better for both sides. Now having said that,I don't think it can happen because of the language problem. Also,it would help keep the pictures that are posted classy.
