Yes, its a good site. A bit commercial.
What I am aiming for here is the good or bad personal experience of a board member who has dealt with a store or repair shop and feels he got a good deal and would like the others to know about it.

I got a very good haircut from Jenny Benavidez (her cell is: 355-9890).

Tell 'em you want the Tico price, not the Gringo price. If you know some spanish, chat 'em up. I got a hair cut today for $4. I gave her a $2 tip. The hair cut is as good/better than the $30 crop job I'd get in Austin.
