If you look at the profiles of gringos on Colombian Cupid they lie about their age by about 10-12 years. FWIW

Unless you're like Hugh Hefner, you old guys aren't getting those "pretty young women" any other way.

Also, judging from what I've seen here on CRT, the type of guy who can do monthy international mongering trips (not just to CR, but multple 2-week trips to Rio and SEA in the same year) is either retired with lots of money, or owns a business and thus can take off whenever he wants, or has a high-paying career with lots of idependence and vacation time (6+ weeks). A common denominator among those types is a senior age.
