Hey All,
I booked a trip down from Oct. 27 - Nov. 1 and I was able to get a room at SL for Wed-Sat, but they were all booked up Sat. and Sun nights. I've tried contacting the Dunn Inn, La Amistad....both are full. I've sent an email to Hotel Castillo to see if they have any rooms. It's not looking good and I am afraid I am going to have to cancel the trip.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I know it's a bit late...and starting to panic a bit.

Thanks.

Hotel Little Havana should have plenty of rooms. The Hemingway is also in that area.

There's always the Del Rey of course.

Also the Clarion Amon Plaza, Presidente, Sleep Inn, Bamoral and Morazan.

thanks. I've sent them (HLH) an email asking if they have anything available. HDR doesn't have any rooms. I'd rather not stay in a chica-unfriendly place, but I suppose if it's a choice between that and not going...

The reason why the CRT sponsor places (and the HDR) are full those dates is because it's Halloween weekend. The SL, Dunn Inn and Amstad most likely were sold out weeks ago, probably months for the SL. Unless you really want to go then or can't go some other time, maybe it's best to pick another time, like the following weekend.

The smaller rooms HLH are never sold out. They have way too many of them compared to demand, most guys go there to just phuck, few actually stay there, they're at the SL, Amistad or Dunn Inn instead. :D

and Halloween weekend is exactly why I want to go! Yeah, I didn't realize everything would be booked up. I haven't heard back from HLH or Castillo yet (no 1-800 numbers to call), but El Presidente has rooms available. I have searched the board for info on it, but can't really get a feel for it. I read there's a dress code, but aside from that do you think it would be ok for the two nights?

Thanks for responding and helping me out here. I don't mind paying a little more, or missing out on the CRT discounts as long as I can have company in my room! It's my fault for my perpetual procrastination.

Well, if Halloween is why you want to go, then cancelling a trip because of hotel availability is a bit of an overreaction. :D There are other places, some of them do cost much nore.

For HLH, just book a room on their site or call 506.2257.8624

The Presidente doesn't get talked about much anymore since they're no longer a sponsor, but there is plenty of info here. There is a chica dress code, which can be very strict based on the whims of whoever is at the desk. There is no chica fee though.

just got a response from HLH and they have one standard king available from Sat/Sun night which I just reserved :D I heard so much about the SL Halloween party last time I was there, I just have to go. I've been a couple times in the past 4 months and have always stayed at SL, so this will be new for me...looking forward to it.

Thanks again for the replies and the helpful info!
