Never been to Costa Rica during this period but thinking about it seriously this year. Is it much celebrated ? Does it add an air of costumed craziness to many popular locals, both in the gulch and non-gulch arenas ?

The Sportsmen's Lodge has a good Halloween Party. It's even bettttttttteeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrr.....if you are one of the "cool guys". You will need to PM Cujo's on this....he is a pretty boy cool guy:

The issue: The "cool guys"...who have the "penthouses" at the SL.... have their own little private, special people only....no NERDS allowed..... "CRT" party in the "penthouses". It's up to you if you care to worry about that shit.

I have been at the last THREE Sportsmen's Lodge halloween parties....and for the "regular guy"...they're just fine.

Just know, this ain't no "brotherhood" in that "...all are invited back to the REAL party....". That is only for the chosen. *shrug*

Who anybody anywhere cares to spend their time with is strictly their business--it's called "freedom of association" and seems to be a lost concept in some quarters in the US. These "cool parties" are guys who've known each other awhile but but they are as accepting if a wee bit more exclusive than the rest of us. Don't take much to make your bones with them.

I've never noticed very much outside the gulch. It's just not that big of a thing outside of the states. I mean the k*ds don't go out trick or treating. You might find some bars outside of the gulch that have an event or maybe private parties at someones home.

Point by point would be pointless; that said the phrase is REMF and I may be somewhat Philly-centric but don't particularly enjoy the city and rarely go there. The rest is one raver's opinion and never was YMMV more true.

I have been to a few dozen Penthouse parties and never remember any CRT guys being excluded or asked to leave. That being said, whoever rents the room can invite or not invite whoever they want to.
