I was told they have/are building a road from Manuel Antonio to the Osa Pennisula. Any truth to that? With the new road to Jaco, one should be able to drive from sjo to M.A in a couple of hrs. or so and then on down the coast to Puerto Jimenez in another 2 hrs. or so. The old way took hrs. and hrs. over treacherous roads and river beds. Anybody know anything about this?

It is getting better
Many of the brigdes are almost done, but not the approches.. Many bridges to no where???
Even when done I do not see a 5hr trip to PJ, it is still a two lane road
I have a friend that travels to PJ very often ... Let me know if want a curent up date
My info is a month old
PJ is a fun place to visit... end of the globe
