Off course it was by choice. I choose what to respond to and not what to respond to and every post I make here the words are my choice. There really was no need to answer the question. Admin decides who is adhering to the rules not you. Who I choose to respond to or not respond to is none of your concern.

I did not say or suggest that there are long time expats who do not frequent the gulch. What I said was "Like most people who have lived here for a number of years, seven in my case, we find little reason to go to the gulch". I guarantee I know a lot more expats then you do and are more familiar with their life style then you are.

Call yourself anything you want you are a tourist! That is why when you enter the country they give you a tourist visa.

Hmm, too funny...

Got news for you PR, 7 beers over the course of a baseball game will hardly make you drunk, unless you are an extreme light weight... Add several hot dogs to absorb the alcohol and all you get is having to piss every 30 minutes... Please take your righteous indignation over to the Oprah channel...

ID, you attempt to make a point about foreigners being tourists unless they have permanent residency... You might want to rethink that point as I've met many 'perpetual tourists' who have lived in CR for years... Some for decades... 8)

LocoHombre vs Perro Succio, you guys need to get a room and work out who's pitching and who's catching... At least PS lives up to his handle as I can only imagine him as a yapping little dog nipping at the heals of LH's every post...

And here I thought this forum was going to be different... :|

Sorry I did not make the distinction clear. I was not referring to perpetual tourists even though their very name classifies them as "tourists". Obviously they are closer to being an expatriate then a tourist. What I was referring to is those who while they may visit frequently until they live here and experience the culture on a full time basis can not legitimately be classified as anything but a tourist.

Muadib...please educate yourself on alcohol use and abuse:

From the Center for Disease Control and Prevention Website:

http://www.cdc.gov/alcohol/faqs.htm#heavyDrinking

What do you mean by heavy drinking?
For men, heavy drinking is typically defined as consuming an average of more than 2 drinks per day. For women, heavy drinking is typically defined as consuming an average of more than 1 drink per day.

Beers, hot dogs, definitions, residents, tourists statuses or any thing else discussed so far aside,

What I can't understand is why any one would torture their K*D by bringing them to a Red Sox came. Wouldn't that be considered Ch*ld abuse? I think it is under Cambridge MA ordinances. Duval Patrick is considering making it a state law.
