I booked an Interbus airport pick-up for last week through
Shuttlebus.co.cr. My flight got in about 6:30pm. I waited outside for about 20 minutes and neither the van nor the IB guy was there. So I took an orange taxi in, with no traffic, the meter read ¢12,500.

The orange taxi meters are on steroids, they are faster than the regular red taxis. (I took a red taxi out and paid ¢9,500).
Anyway, the next day I contacted the Shuttlebus website about what happened. They apologized and said that IB was stuck in heavy traffic. Anyway, a couple minutes later, I received an email from Paypal stating that I received a Paypal refund for $9.50 for the transfer
plus $25 that IB reimbursed me (through Shuttlebus) for the taxi I took, so I received a total of $34.50 in my Paypal account.
Nice to know that they will take responsibility and make things right. I appreciated the gesture and will definitely use both companies again.
