CRT Handicapper's Challenge:

sponsored by: Dunn Inn
Sportsmens Lodge
www.lazydaywager.com - see Boyd at the Dunn Inn
www.gowidesports.com - see Gary at the Sportsmens

Let's see who really knows college and pro football. The challenge:

Each week BKTUNA/Boyd will post the college and Pro Football lines on Tuesday. Each Particpant can pick a maximum of three college and three pro-games against the spread. The participants will post their picks each week on this thread for all to see before the kickoff of the first game (typically Thursday evening) .The winner will be determined by winnning percentage for the season. Prizes as follows:

1st: $250
2nd: $150
3rd: $100

Over the course of the season the maximum number of games picked is 81 and the minimum to qualify is 60. This means you can miss several weeks or pick less than the maximum on certain weeks and still be eligible. All CRT VIP members will be eligible. There is no entry fee. prizes will be paid in Costa Rica after the last week of the NFL regular season. We have all given the CRT handicapper and Cubby grief over the years, now we can all show our stuff.

I don't know who the CRT handicapper is, but that guy 'Cubby' is a great fade.

Okay guys for week one it is only college games. You can pick a maximum of three games this week. Next week it will be college and pros and a maximum of six picks. The chart below shows the lines. The team with the minus number beside it is the favorite. The second team is the home team. So for example: Western Michigan @ Michigan State (-23) translates as Michingan State is a 23 point home favorite over Western Michigan. If you choose Michigan state as one of your picks they must win by 24 points for you to win. If you choose Western Michigan they must lose by 22 points or less for you to win. If the number hits on 23 exactly you have a tie. The lines will not move once they are posted.

1) Western Michigan @ Michigan State (-23)
2) Miami Ohio @ Florida (-35)
3) Illinois @ Missouri (-11.5)
4) Colorado (-12) @ Colorado State
5) Nortwestern (-5.5) @ Vanderbilt
6) Memphis @ Mississipi State (-21.5)
7) Texas (-30.5) @ Rice
8) Purdue @ Notre Dame (-11)
9) Connecticut @ Michigan (-3)
10) Kentucky (-3.5) @ Louisville
11) New Mexico @ Oregon (-34)
12) UCLA @ Kansas St (-2)
13) Syracuse (-8.5) @ Akron
14) Washington ST @ Oklahoma St (-15.5)
15) San jose State @ Alabama (-38.5)
16) Utah State @ Oklahoma (-34)
17) Army (-9.5) @ Eastern Michigan
18) Orgon State @ TCU (-13.5)
19) Cincinati @ Fresno State (-3)
20) Wisconsin (-20.5) @ UNLV
21) Loisiana-Layfayette @ Georgia (-28)
22) Western kentucky @ Nebraska (-38)
23) North Texas @ Clemson (-23.5)
24) Bowling Green @ Troy (-14)
25) Arkansas State @ Auburn (-31)
26) Tulsa (-8.5) @ East Carolina
27) SMU @ Texas Tech (-14)
28) Maryland @ Navy (-6.5)
29) Boise State (-2.5) @ Virginia Tech (note played in Washington DC)

Here are my week one picks

1) Kansas State
2) Freson State
3) Va Tech

So in order for me to win Kanas Stae must win at home by 3 or more over UCLA. Fresno State must win at home by 4 over Cincinati. Va Tech must win outright or lose by 2 points or less in Washington DC against Boise State.

If you have any questions contact me or post them. Once again this is a free contest for VIPs with a total of $500 sponsored by Dunn Inn, Sportsmens, Lazydaywager and Gowidesports. If you wish to make a sports wager in Costa Rica you can see Boyd @ the Dunn Inn or Gary @ the Sportsmens.

for all you maryland fans....navy has a returning senior quarterback and a bowl game win....while maryland is in shambles.....the navy team is strong.....you sure 6 and a half points for maryland are enough?....the navy quarterback might cover that just by himself....not to mention their receiving and running game......just saying.....
