Happy Birthday CRT,

I want to personally thank Admin1 for all that he does to make CRT an ongoing success. It is definitely tougher than it looks. CRT has helped me in various ways from good info as a newbie tourist to great info as a new resident of Costa Rica. However, the overriding benefit has been the great group of guys I have met over the years. The scene in San Jose would not be what it is without all the "goodfellas" that visit or live here. I thin the vast majority of us have greatly benefited from the shared info and comraderie.

Thank you for all your hard work. It can't be easy but it is probably a lot of fun.

The site has been very beneficial for so many of us.

Happy Birthday CRT, Jeffee I do not know how to say what CRT has been to me. I learned how to type on this board. I was adviced to writte in word with spell check. Still do not as you can see. I have met many friends here. The famous Don Gordo, I saw his info sites years ago. Yet today he is my friend. Bill at SL, Matt at LAmisted, Darren at Castillo. The guys on the board. I do not want to name all you all for fear of leaving someone out and hurting feelings. But to be apart of something greater than myself. Too be around other people who share my same attitude about sex.

I have grown as a man here on this board, Even have a member living in my house with me now. A friend who I met in a whorehouse. We are local DC union guys. Yet we met in CR at a whore house.

I just want all the people who I have met on the board and in person to know you have made these years great.

Happy B-day CRT!!!

Add my name to the list of those who have this board to thank for the inspiration, information and good friends that have made it possible to go to places only previously dreamed about.

Congratulations and a job well done to Admin1 :!: :!: :!:

" most of the girls down here, lie as a self defense mechanism and to not have to face the truth, thinking most men couldn't accept them knowing the whole truth. Simpler, they may just want men to think they are as perfect as they want to appear to them, trying to hide what they consider to be the ugly truth about themselves. And I may be reading more into it than is there, but I do believe they consider the basis of the lies to be justified."

Yep... Our beloved Admin1 certainly had the foresight about CR.

Costa Rica Top Destination For the "Single Traveller"
Inside Costa Rica - August 26, 2010

The magazine "Travel + Leisure" places Costa Rica at the top as the best country in the world for single travel.

In its latest publication, the magazine takes a look at the top 15 vacation spots for singles travel, taking into account several factors, among them basics for a foreigner to enjoy their stay in a country and security. The ministro de Turismo (Toursim minister), Carlos Ricardo Benavides, said he is proud of the ranking by the magazine, a publicatin that specializes in international travel. Costa Rica has grown increasingly in the world, has a good name and well positioned", said the minister. Following Costa Rica in the Travel + Leisure ranking is Vietnam and Laos in third place.

In addition, the 2010 Global Peace Index (GPI) places 26th of 149 countries ranked by their peacefulness (http://www.visionofhumanity.org/gpi-data/#/2010/scor). The Global Peace Index (GPI) is an attempt to measure the relative position of nations’ and regions’ peacefulness. It is the product of Institute for Economics and Peace and developed in consultation with an international panel of peace experts from peace institutes and think tanks with data collected and collated by the Economist Intelligence Unit.

The list was launched first in May 2007 and then in May 2008 and on 2 June 2009 and recently 10 June 2010 and is claimed to be the first study to rank countries around the world according to their peacefulness. It ranks 149 countries (up from 121 in 2007). Costa Rica's neighbours, Nicaragua placed 64th and Panama 61st. At the top of the GPI is New Zealand and the last place goes to Iraq.

I'd also like to offer my Happy Birthday wishes to CRT! Admin1 and the other pioneers paved the way for all of us here to meet great new friends and glean fountains of knowledge about everything CR! What an entertaining ride it's been!

Thanks so much!
