I really need more of these sayings.

Me: "No sexo with you".
"Why?"
"Because you look exactly like my sister"

Me: "Culito! Culito! Culito!"

Me: "Cien."
"okay"
"No you pay cien for me."

Its more how you say it than what you say. These little darlings sense newbie-weakness from across the building.

But its good to be very direct and to the point and don't over explain.

"Baby, thank you, thanks for asking but I don't want company today". That is simple and to the point.

"Baby, gracias! mucho gracias! pero yo no quiero compañía hoy."

Her friends will see the interaction and you don't want her to be embarrassed so smile and act like your telling her great news. Your confident and easy but firm body language will allow her to smile back and keep moving .

real simple in the HDR: "He estado vivido en San Pedro para 5 anos". ("I have been living in San Pedro for 5 years") 90% of the time that is sufficent for them to walk away without saying another word. If they still are hanging around, I add; "y mi novia vive conmigo y es muy celosa. Tal vez la conoces, ella trabaja aqui". ("and my girlfriend lives with me and is very jealous. Maybe you know her, she works here.") Never had one stick around after that. :D

I think you have a lot of class Icantstayaway. I mean that sincerely. You have given a very good suggestion of the appropriate way to do what, from time to time, needs to be done.

But if they don’t take the hint, one may consider the expulsion of a particularly noxious-abdominal gas, e.g. a raunchy fart. That should do the trick. It may also kill flying insects.   Just goes to show you I have no class. 8)

Tap your left elbow with your right hand, point to yourself and say"Es verdad". That'll at least discourage the Colombianas...or so I'm told. Especially when combined with the release of raunchy internal gaseous effluents Brother DiegoC mentioned--just remember which ass-cheek to lift--don't want to knock a neighboring Brother off his bar stool.

This almost always works; but the problem is, if it's the truth and you're naturally the honest type, it also works pretty well for chicas that you don't find the least bit annoying and with whom you'd like to spend some time. A couple of times I've thought about lying and saying, "Soy turista." Somehow, however, that hasn't struck me as a very productive option.

Yes, I agree the dishonestity can sometimes come back to bite you in the ass, but this hobby is basically built on dishonesty. I would only use this when I really wanted to get rid of a pest, and would never use it with one I was interested in. Also since I used the HDR as an example, for me this is no problem since I have not pulled a chica from there in over 3 years. If I did find one that I was interested in, and she had heard (from a former pest) that I said I had a live-in Novia, I would just point out to her that "mi espanol no es buy bien! Pienso que ella no me comprendio corecto! Dije que quisiera encontar un chica para ser me novia y vivi conmigo"!! Yes another lie but!! all is fair in love, war, and P4P!! :P     And NO, I do not totally feel that way but close!!

Simpler, they may just want men to think they are as perfect as they want to appear to them, trying to hide what they consider to be the ugly truth about themselves. And I may be reading more into it than is there, but I do believe they consider the basis of the lies to be justified."

Kind of an inside joke on that "I live in San Pedro" thing. Care to explain further for us ignoranti?

No inside joke!! just that many many of the chicas in the HDR and to a lesser degree in the SL, do not want to "waste" their time talking to a gringo that lives here especially one that has lived here for several years. Long time resident equates to 'much time for little money'; whereas first time visitor (newbie) equates to 'quick, easy "cien"  :!: Not always the case, but the way most hardcore pros look at it   :!: And, yes, I have lived in San Pedro for almost 5 years :D :D :D A live-in novia--no way
