Concluding, build the mosque next to wherever! It's covered under the Bill of Rights.

Yeah so are a lot of things; for instance, why not build a Hitler/Nazi Memorial outside a Jewish Synagogue? I mean, you can walk into a theater in Harlem and wait for the movie to start and then yell "N*gger" ; The constitution or Bill of Rights guarantees your right to do so. However, the 20 or so big black guys that kick ur ass, argue against doing so; because it just don't make sense.
So, I guess what I am saying Steve1 is that I find your arguments mostly lame and the fact that you admit to being the recipient of a Bad Conduct discharge to be rather telling. I will not respond to any other post you make.

Talk about a storm in a teacup--the kerfuffle about that Islamic Community Center takes the cake. Those opposed are mistaken in nearly every detail. PM me if you want more--this isn't the place to inflame emotions more.
BTW, yelling that word in that place is probably covered by "Incitement to Riot" or "Hate Speech" statutes and also BTW there's a town in Virginia that just put up a statue of Josef Stalin--got the Eastern Europeans in a bit of a dither, I'll tell you.

Wow
I do Thank People for their sevice and mean it, I do believe people can say what they want I also generally stop reading many pretty fast. Your opinion means little to me regardless of if your a vet when it sounds so angry with little meaning.

I dislike the US Gov very much do think we are crooked as hell but that doesn't mean the grunts getting dirty have anything to do with it,

I have no yellow ribbons but my main US website I belong to with me heading it just does what we can since last November we have sent right around 7000 decent cigars combined with other sundries to Irac/Aphganistan and other places and hope to hit 11000 by the end of the year.

I will still say Thanks for your service no matter how angry and old you get.

That was really funny LocoHombre, I really did laugh out loud. Laughing is good for the soul; laughing at ourselves can be good too.

In academia, the written and verbal debates can be extremely biting and vicious.

A reason often recited for the extreme animus in academic debates is that fact that the stakes are so low.

Words of wisdom from a true hero...shame our military doesn't have more like him....real shame....

"With a heavy dose of fear and violence, and a lot of money for projects, I think we can convince these people that we are here to help them."

Lt. Col Nathan Sassman

Is this the guy you're talking about? (Notice the correct spelling of his name in this Amazon.com book listing):
http://www.amazon.com/Warrior-King-Betr ... 0312377126

As a whole lot of people from Nixon on down (or up) have found out, it's not the (alleged) crime that unravels you, it's the cover-up--and the cover-up nearly always comes to light.

Knave. Read the book instead of what some 20something has written in a "review" for Amazon.com . CRT's own Glen Beck: JazzboCR :!: :!: :P

"In another war, Nate Sassaman's aggressive leadership would have merited a statue somewhere. Instead, as "the right warrior for the wrong war," his career was sacrificed to satisfy the needs of an army obsessed with appearances instead of winning. His is a story of brave men faced with hardship and hostility, having to make snap decisions in the heat of combat, only to be second-guessed by careerist officers sitting in the air-conditioned comfort of their offices. The parallel to big city police forces does not go unnoticed - "there is no war right now," he writes. "It's law enforcement, and we're losing ten, fifteen soldiers a week to law enforcement." If you oppose the war, you need to read the book to appreciate the sort of people we send over to fight it; if you support the war, you need to read it to understand why LTC Sassaman, a true warrior, writes, "Bring the soldiers home - now. Start today." "

Sassaman is making money hands over fist at this point in his life as a "result" of the "cover-up". Didn't hurt him one bit save to remove him from a bunch of politcally correct twunts and "lifers" who ..... never mind.... 8)

They guy's name is spelled correctly in a couple of other posts I have made about him. Typos happen....particularly on this message board...although the constant use of the word your when you're is what is "...being said...." is a pretty far stretch in the typo excuse game.... :P :P 8)
