Went there a couple of months ago. I've been there about six times prior to that. The food is quite good, but is overpriced. I think the food is better at both the Colonial and the Del Mar.

Yes, the last time I had ate there it was not the same and prices had gone up. I still like the place.

It has a huge menu, the food is good and the service is great. I can go there every night and order something different. I don't like the Colonial, though I've eaten there several times. The food at DR is very good, but the service is slow because of the distance from the kitchen. My opinion; went there a couple of times in June 2010.

I don't know how this place stays in business. I walk by numerous times during my trips & the place usually has no customers or at most 2 tables are seated!

Every CR President has eaten there since its inception. The food is good.

It's a beautiful restaurant. When in Costa Rica, I walk past it several times a day. Surprisingly, I hardly ever see any customers in the place. In JUNE/JULY [maybe still] I was told they had a spaghetti lunch special for 2600 colones; was told it was good and a good portion. Supposedly, the same thing during the evening hours was twice that price.

They have a nice selection of cheese and breads to pick at, good wine list and the pastas are fantastic. It's really worth a visit guys.

For the last six years I've been going there 2-3 times each trip. We all have different tastes, but for me they serve the best spaghetti bolognese in town.
Yes the prices are high, but I am willing to pay for a really good meal.
And I always get the CRT discount!
