Surely something to get excited about, winning the 1st preseason game in the 2nd half using and playing against players who won't be on either team come Sep 9

:?:

Not getting excited we have a LONG WAY TO GO. But I bet the K*D that had the 3 TD's will make the team

On the good side, hopefully FireMoronEd was a little quieter in the 2nd half. Is there another more annoying douchebag on the planet :?:

:?: :?: eh, you don't really have to stray to far from this board to compile quite the list....

Aren't the "Fins" being guided by a Tuna? :o History says this leads to good things.

Meanwhile my Browns have a much improved team, but a much tougher schedule. Still, the playoffs are attainable, and as the Giants proved last year, you don't have to have the best team, just play better when it counts. :D

:) :) the Tuna gave up all control of the Dolphins the other day :)

Here's a little something for the Jets fans--a nice article on your coach and his style:

NYG says 4-12.

YOU say Jets suck.

Got cash ?

As for the Super Bowl I think the Jets won't quite make it. Although Sanchez played very well in the playoffs last year I'm not sure he's ready to take them all the way. The Jets fortunes ride on a 2nd year QB. A very good one I think but still a 2nd year QB.

Giants ? I had high hopes they'd make it to the SB but after watching yesterday's debacle, and yes, I thought that 13 point win WAS a debacle, I'm not quite as confident. They were very sloppy and got lucky they were playing a (much) inferior team with a QB that throws "folly floaters" into the end zone.

Fer Christ's sake, calling a timeout deep in enemy territory with 50 seconds left in the first half. Can anyone say "Clock management" ???

One game does not a season make but based on yesterdays performance it would seem the NYG will win the NFC east. Not because they are that good but because the rest of that division is mediocre at best. Doubt they will make it very far in the playoff but then it is a long season and surprises are sure to happen.
