question, Does any one know if HDR docked the pay of gaurd who got shot for bleeding on work time? or making a mess on the floor?

Watched a show on the ship yards of India ( where they cut old ships) and there some companies docked the worker the pay they owe him for the week if they get hurt and can not finish his shift/week. Others charge you to have the company Doc ( your week wages to that point) to bandage your amputated limb. That was shown on the show.
So when ever i hear about something like this in third world counties I always wonder???

Apparently some people were ejected from the DR. They returned a short time later in a vehicle. As they drove southbound on Calle 9 (the street on which the main entrance of the DR is located) approximately nine shots were fired into the DR. I was told the shooting took place at approximately 4:00 AM. For Costa Rica, that is consisent with the estimation of 3:00 AM mentioned above.

The shooting scene was the secondary entrance to the DR; the one that leads into the old dining room which is now a bar and a bunch of tables and chairs. It was not at the entrance which leads to the registration desk.

A guard was wounded in the foot. At last report he was stable. Costa Rican laws regarding injured employees are fairly strict.

The suspects were apprehended as short time later in the San Francisco de Dos Rios area which is south of Zapote and north of Desamparados. "Desampa" is a community south of San Jose and many of the phillies call it home.

The judges will undoubtedly grant release of the suspects because they didn't mean to hurt anyone; after all, they just shot into an occupied building. There was no attempt to harm, injure or kill anyone. It was just a prank.
