It's best to do a search, the info you are looking for is out there. Since I'm not busy, I pulled up a post I made last year.

The apartments (and studios-small apartments) are great. I have stayed there a lot of times. If you are very discreet (and quiet) and don't bring in chicas that look like hookers, you should be ok. The hotel officially forbids it, but discretion (and infrequency) is the key.

If you plan on bringing in chicas every day, or multiple times daily, look for another place.

Their website specifically states that guests are not allowed in the hotel rooms. Look in the Q & A section.

That's true for the hotel. But you have to pass by the reception desk to get to your hotel room.

In the apartments building (25 meters down the block), there is no desk or staff. There are cameras, so they can see and that's it. And at night, there's a guy that usually sits in the lobby in total darkness. It's kind of creepy. I don't think he's awake anyway.

But there are families that stay there on an extended basis and they will report you to the office if they see you with a scantily clad hooker. You may just get booted out on the spot (with no refund or alternate accomodations).

Here's some contact info and pix of NHHank's mention:

Also it has been mentioned here before--a "Search" should help.

When i amin San Jose I ofen meet TICA, NICA and and other Latin customers who stay here, the rooms are very nice very inexpensive but they are NOT guest friendly the apartments require much discresion. The breakfast beffet is one or the best i have found in San Jose fruit cooked to order omlets, pancakes etc free for quests I believe 2,500 for walk ins week days and 4,000 on weekends

Yes, the good thing is that the breakfast is great. The bad thing is that it's for hotel guests only, not the apartments.
