The Sportsman Lodge is very close to la Amistad. In my opinion, that's the best place to find a quality independent (escort). You can walk to many of the MP's during the day - don't do it at night. Take a taxi to the HDR ($2) late at night to see a good selection of ladies. You will probably find one to your liking.

Amistad is a great choice. You can throw a rock and hit SL (or the neighbor on the right) from the front door of Amistad. Have fun.

Here's the deal--walk out of La Amistad, take a right, walk (at a brisk pace--with purpose) about 200 hundred yards (if that) and you'll see Nirvana AKA the SL on the right. Now the HDR/Blue Marlin Bar is OK with a hundred or so Chicas but that can dazzle or overwhelm--walk across the street through the parking lot and sample the experience (with live music after 10PM) at the Key Largo--plenty of fine women there too. A little walk on the wild (or at least older) side--when coming out of the HDR heading towards the KL, take a left instead--about 50 yards on the other side of the intersection on the left is the NY Bar--be careful walking--it can be a tough block and intersection to get through.

My advise: As mentioned, walk the block to the SL, go in to the bar, have a drink and check out the chica selection (sometimes great, sometimes not so!). Talk to the other guys there, Find one (a wingman)who has been here several times and knows the 'scene' and enjoy The GULCH!! and surrounding areas. OH! and if you find a chica to your liking in the SL, delay the rest of this and take her back to the Amistad for some fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But it also might not be a bad idea if you find a guy who knows the SL chicas (many regulars do) to ask him about the chica you are interested in!! There are many great performers there but as with any place there are always a few bad ones.
