I had 2 great dinners there last week, the pizza was great, it is a beautiful place to have dinner, love the outdoor setting, very close to the SL, they have a great wine list and decent prices, seemed like a normal crowd there having lots of fun !!!
I agree ... went there a few weeks ago on a Thursday night around 8:30-ish and it was a full house. Everyone in my party was more then satisfied with their meal (Pasta, Chicken & fish dishes) in terms of quality and quantity and the pricing wasn't a turnoff. Did not try any of the desserts, but that will be next on the list along with possibly the pizza
Would love to one day try the pizza or any pizza in San Jose, but have a little phobia of 3rd world pizza's LOL!!! .... I guess too many pictures or walk bye's of bag looking pizza's with some crazy looking cheese and toppings .. not sure what looks more scarier to me ... the toppings of mystery meat or the reasonable facsimile for cheese LOL. I'm more a fan of the hearty "East Coast" pizza then I am of the Foo-Foo Brick Oven Variety ... just a matter of preference.
On your recommendation, I will bust my San Jose "Pizza" cherry at Cafe Mundo or even Il Ritiorno ... when I was there that brick oven looked like it was doing some serious work.
Thanks for the tip on the good pizza
