1. Toilets flush reliably and predictably.
2. Shower water temperature adjusts quickly to the desired level.
3. Supermarket check out lines move quickly and efficiently.
4. Traffic moves in a fairly orderly fashion.
5. Razor wire is rarely seen.
6. Beggars sit quietly and only hold out cups as you walk by.
7. I can fully understand what people are saying to me, and they can understand me.
8. I have ten cazillion TV channels to choose from.

Being back sucks.

I feel your pain. I work on a college campus. The torture never ends for me, and Spring is coming.

I wonder - is having a Kamur, an Oasis, a Zona Blue, a Blue Marlin, etc., all it would take to make this all okay? Nope.

Being 'over the hill' is damn sure better than being under it!
I was always taught to respect my elders, but it keeps getting harder to find one.

I also am back in Gringaland. Family obligations and all. AT least its in sunny FLA . BUT...after only 24 hrs I am already stressed out by this stress centric culture of ours. From impatient immigration lines, rental car lines, and a plane full of "ugly americans" coming back from paradise...I'm ready to be back to CR already.

Oh well...will do my best to survive, and be back online from CR mid next week. You guys better practice your poker too...I'll be coming after that $ next week .
