The atmosphere is very chill unless there's a crowd for a poker game or a party. The girls are hot but way overpriced. If you see a girl you like there, chances are she could be had for half the price at the del Rey later that evening. It's kind of far removed from the Gulch, but it's close to the mall and several decent bars and restaurants in that part of town.

I've stayed there a few times, most recently last month. What exactly do you want to know?

Hotel M is not for everyone. It's not a mongering venue in the same way the Del Rey is or the Sportsmens Lodge is, i.e. girls aren't sitting there every night waiting for customers to show up.

If you are the sort who complains about paying 6 dollars for a beer and views pu*sy as a commodity to be purchased at the cheapest price possible, don't bother going to M.

However, if you are the sort who likes to be at a discreet, elegant venue that caters to your every want, you might want to check it out.

Do a search for Don Rico trip reports to get the real scoop on Hotel M. There are also several trip reports with detailed info in the VIP member's only forums.

I planned to Stay only at a hotel in Escazu last week but did end up spending one night at Hotel M. Must say - I went to the SL and hooked up with 4 super hotties (all M quality-and I must thank Miami Heller for the number of one of these lovlies) and headed out to dinner. Had two M chicas begging me to come to M and party - so after dinner, Wingy, I, and two local buddies headed over to M with our chicas and let the festivities begin. M is whatever you want it to be (if you are a guest - or in my case a very frequent guest) - We took over the bar -played our music, had fun (dance, music, sex, romance, etc.). Most of the crowd clear out by 3:30-4:00. Me, one local bud, and the last chicas standing (including 2 M regulars)- finished off the party and then slept it off the next morning in room #7. I have to say thanks to them M manager for not charging me (of course my bar bill was    ).

If you are guest - you can roll with your own chicas (sl, dr, etc) or roll with some top shelf M chicas - to each his own. For me if you know the scene, you can always do as well quality wise and way better on price - by working the Rey and the SL.

Business is slow all over is San Jose - so now is a good time to try M and ask for a special introductory price (never hurts to ask). I think you will have good luck.

Peace, love, and happiness for all,

DR

I ran into Scott ( "former" manager of Hotel M) yesterday, and he informed me that he is no longer affiliated with the Hotel M. That's all he said, and it wasn't my place to ask more questions.

I recently enjoyed a cerveza with the owner and he told me that he has purchased the building next door and will soon be expanding from 10 to 22 suites. He will also have more areas for the parties and such....

One thing that I personally love about the place is their super-cool bartenders. They are fun. They like to have a good time but they are professional. They ALL help make the party all the more exciting....mis dos colones

Pura Vida

If you are referring to Michelle with the permanent smile, about 5'1" with 34D assets, yes, she is still there. But she's not a bartender.
