Oh, now, Brother BrentC15, I think Brother Witling and some others might take exception to that remark. I know at least one Department Store window dresser who's straight-arrow, and Dave Kopay is probably the first and certainly the most prominent example, but some other NFL players are gay, Billy Strayhorn, one of Duke Ellington's best songwriters, was gay in a notoriously macho profession. One of the best current jazz pianists Fred Hersch got a married to another guy last year (the jazz machismo hasn't lessened appreciably since Strayhorn's time). Stereotyping doesn't wall them out--it walls you in. Capisce? Yes, yours is a joke--got it.

Tico Times says the best burgers in town are found at Doc Browns in La Sabana north. I tried them and they are as good as i have found in the states. The place is 30 meters from AM PM.

The problem with this place is that it just never seems to be open. Went by a few random times and its always closed.

Los Amigos in Jaco has a great burger, made with Buckhead Beef patty. Other than that, pretty much every other burger is a let down.

I do not know their exact hours but the best time to find them open is around normal lunch time. Their customer base in mostly gringos who work the sports books in Oficina Centro.

I guess so, I went by at 11:45 once and it was closed. They said they would open at 12 (which means 12:30). Also went by around 7pm on a weeknight and it was closed also. Really normal hours.

The Del Mar burger is very good. Over here, I've been going to 5 Guys Burgers lately and the are great.

It's really not rocket science and the laziness of serving a bad burger is a pet peeve of mine. I could teach my 7 year old friend here how to cook an adequate burger. Cheapness is sometimes the cause too. Buying these little pressed patties! It's been a while but I remember having a good and creative burger at the SL. A little different, I believe it was called the Ranch Burger. Burgers were pretty good at the Del Rey from what I remember, but that has been like 8 years ago.....

Ever had the in-and-out urge for an In-N-Out Burger?

Classic burgers available in California, Nevada and Arizona. :D

Outback has had burgers on their menu since the beginning of time. Like everything else there, average at best and overpriced.

What are the burgers like at the new Hooters in San Pedro?

There seems to be parking in the rear. Is it the typical $700 an hour or is it free?
