presidente(news cafe) a corona is 1500 colones............Rum and coke would be the same,a little less perhap's......... sjo airport/duty free......3 bottles of bacardi..$10.........Absolute vodka $10.......Zona blue $1 Beer's.imperial can"s..........supermarket( mas x menos)..imperial 325 colones per can.......import beer's 460 colones..stella artois etc......

Well, I dunno... KL/BM and Monkey bar ARE typical bars for Mongers, aren't they? I know lots of better deals, but don't see many guys in Hawaiian shirts and plaid shorts there.

That is why the KL/BM can charge more. They have a floor show so they have to figure in the entertainment value. :lol: :lol:

I had no issue with any drink prices there. Seemed easy to get a nice load on at a low cost anywhere. At least, a lot lower than on, por ejemplo, Rush street in Chicago.

I'm headed to bike week in Daytona tomorrow. Now that is a real rip off. What the hell, can't take it with ya.

Oh, as to colones...10 colones to get the crack addicted little a-hole to scream at you that it's not enough...about 400 to start a really cool brawl between smoothtalker alleged stranded gringo guy and crack K*D outside the presidente. Best floor show I saw in SJ.
