If you young guys are going to bust an older guy's balls for trying to wear trendy clothes then you have to accept reciprocity.

Also, if you wear earrings, don't ask me for a job :P :P :P :P

I haven't met you but you may be the rare exception that proves the rule.

What are you talking about Jazz, we met a few weeks ago. Me, you, Boyd, and a few others all went to Grammi's for that horrible karaoke night.

Come on guys!! I can not believe this thread!!!

CLOTHS (NOR APPEARANCE) DOES NOT A MAN MAKE!!!!
And age is not the determining factor in whether a guy mongers or not!

Every generation has 'their style'. and every style has 'generational crossover'. Telling others what they should wear and not wear is like telling someone who they should date or marry, or what career field they should go into If you have personal knowledge and the person is a friend then you MIGHT be in a position to give 'friendly advise', but to do so to a person you know nothing about is absurd. Hell when I was a K*D, we were all "going to hell" because of Elvis, rock and roll, swiveling our hips when we danced, wearing our collars turned up, and our hair in a 'duck tail'!! Then the beatles came along and another generation 'was going to hell' because of yet again another 'different style'. Then came the 'hippie' and anti war age-WOW!! but did that cause horror in the older generations!! And then!! and then!!! But guess what? no generation has totally gone to hell (yet)!!! And with each new 'fad' there have been those from other generations who have "crossed over"! No I do not like some of the styles of other generations; but then some I have wished I was not too "old" to wear and not look silly or stupid!! Just as with which chica we like or don't like, we are ALL INDIVIDUALS and should be able to do what makes us happy without being critized by others who do not feel the same way!!

All that said; there is one exception in my opinion!!!!!!! And that is the gringo visiting another country and dressing in cloths that make him stand out and draw attention to himself and his nationallity! The "ugly American" syndrome!!! Sorry but no matter how great or how important you may think we gringos are, we are not well liked in many other countries; and it is "their country" you are visiting!!! Dress appropriately!!!!

Now as for "appropriate age to monger"!! Certainly as an "Old Fart" I look at myself and others in my age bracket and I can SEE reasons for mongering!! old, fat, ugly, etc. and in general we have the money and time to enjoy the "hobby". AND most importantly, WE CAN NOT GET THE YOUNG HOT SEXI CRINGA to even give us a second look. Sure if you have tons of money or fame you can get the hot sexi 'hooker' but then 'what have you got"??? Certainly not what we get from the hot young sexi Latinas here and in other mongering destinations!

Now as for the "younger generation" of mongers (and for me that is anyone 40 and younger)! To ask WHY? is like asking what are all the reasons the world is the way it is!! Sure there are obvious reasons-(1) young guys with physical problems--fat, ugly, etc. (sound familiar??); (2) there are young guys who are just too shy and or lacking in self confinance to even talk to a gringa; (3) there are young guys who have personal problems which make it dificult to get gringas. AND (4) there are young studs; good looking, charming, tons of personality, and plenty of money who could get any gringa they might want (well, almost). With the first 3 groups, it is obvious why they are mongering (and the vast majority of young guys I see here fit into those groups) The 4th group is young guys who are just 'bored' (anything too easy gets boring after a while) and looking for something different and adventureous!! Not that I would have fit into this group when young, but I could (mainly because of my profession) get girls with NO problem (and did); BUT I started mongering at the age of 20 because of boredom and a desire for adventure!!! Then, recently there is a 5th group coming here-- the "frat' type, whether it be actual frat 'brothers', members of a sports team, friends celebrating something, or whatever!! This group is in no way "mongers", just young guys on a type of "spring break"!! Hell, just this past week there were a couple of "young" guys here who , because of their looks and personalities, could get almost any girl they wanted. You might ask WHY they travel here to pay chicas for sex? If you could have seen them in action, you would know why!!!!!!

Mongering is ALL about the fun and excitment, it is all about satisfying ones personal and sexual needs, no matter the age, the look, the dress, the money!! it is about "doing your thing" and to hell with others and what they think and say! Life is way too short to worry about what others think or say--DO YOUR THING!!!!!

I certainly REALLY do not give a hoot if guys wear earrings or piercings. My previous posts we totally for ball busting and in fun, so I hope they are taken that way.

I am not THAT old, but back in my youth people generally dressed much better in the USA. After the 60's and 70's, people of my generation went totally slob. I am shocked when I go out even to nice restaurants how people dress sometimes. Our culture has gone too far "dressing down". To persons in developing countries, crappy looking clothes are a sign of poverty and from North American tourists, a sign of disrespect.

Jayson Werth (6'5", 240) full-time right-field for the Division-leading Philadelphia Phillies just cut his full beard back to a goatee. He comes from a very athletic family (father and grandfather both Major Leaguers, sister a world-class athlete). If you wanna call him a poofter, go ahead--I'd just as soon not be in the room, especially not if his family is present.

I don't worry about Mr. Werth--he's worked hard to make himself what he is ( starter on a championship team, in the top 5 in any number of offensive categories). I'm just reiterating what Bother BB57 said. It's the man that makes the man. All else is bushwa. Homer am I? What other city of comparable size has such great sports teams, and such profound and knowledgeable fans? I call it recognizing reality.

I've seen certain members wearing wolfpack shirts, supposedly they drive chicas wild. What is the d-bag factor for these?- http://www.amazon.com/Mountain-Mens-Bar ... pd_sbs_a_1

They are basically T shirts with a cheesy picture on it. If your style is picking up girls while wearing a T shirt, go for it.

While you are at it, furnish your crib with an Elvis portrait painted on black velvet. Dogs playing poker is also a classic decorating picture. You will truly impress the chicas. :)

Just for the record the guy who started this thread is the same guy (Ericespe) that thought Htoad throwing a half dressed chica out of his room was the coolest, stand-up thing. So much so he started the Htoad Legendary Negotiator thread http://costaricaticas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=33791. Pffft. Based on that alone, I'm sure he, Ericespe, knows a thing or two about being a d-bag.

I swear on my erection this is true. I was talking to ElSilencioso the other day and he told me he went to Burlington Coat Factory and Marshalls for some new digs. I started chuckling, thinking he was spoofing on HolaB's post. But then when he chided me and said "Burlington Coat Factory has a nice men's department" I was unsure how to respond. I think I've lost my linguistic edge.

Somebody please tell me if he was messing with me. I feel so out of the loop.

Although it must be said that now I'm regretting using a reference to my erection, and HolaB and ElSilencioso in the same paragraph. And having pictured them both there together in Burlington Coat Factory and Marshalls, I've lost it, and I'm not sure it will ever return. :(

Oh Shit...I just read this whole phucking post; that makes me as big a tool as someone who would wear one of those phucked up t shirts, and half as much as some tool who would post about t shirts when he could be baning chicas...
