It is 6:30AM and I am in Atlanta awaiting my nine-something flight to San Jose, Costa Rica.
Although I could have done a better job on my planning.
A couple of month ago I was doing OK reading up on stuff.
Since I simply have not had time to read up so I am going partly blind folded.
I am staying at the Sportsmen's Lodge

The Twist ......
I am going directly from a convention in Denver where I was a speaker at multiple sessions.
Combining marathon loud talking with a sinus infection requiring medical intervention and high altitude dry air I lost my voice.
Literally I can do not much more than a whisper.
At best I sound like a muffled teen boy entering pupate

Any tips for the unprepared geezer will be appreciated.

Hope to hook up with some CRT members

Take some decongestants before the flight to avoid pressure pain.
You'll do fine at SL, check roll calls to see who else is there. Can you whisper in spanish, if not let your $ do the talking or just write on napkins at the bar.

Nice to know that the world has a common language.

BTW I am at 30k', half way there, and it seems as if the vocals are improving

There are quite a few good guys (CRT members) here right now. Must have been 30+ at the SL last night around 6 or so. Will probably be the same tonight. just ask around and I am sure there will guys that will steer you in the right dirrection. Also go to the Dunn at 3pm for the happy hour there. Just about 4 blocks from the SL.
