Just an observation on my part..........but it seems that lately the posts have been a lot deeper.

Has anyone else noticed the increase in LTR / GFE guys posts.

Or is it because i've become one of those GFE guys and skip over the other posts?

Well, there is a big difference between LTR & GFE in my opinion.

Like I just posted on another thread....LTR implies looking for a girlfriend/wife.

GFE is where we are expressly looking to get laid, but would like the girl to treat us more like she would treat her boyfriend during said screw.

I think gfe is great and I have had quite a few of those. But I think someone said in another post and I totally agree that if you are trying to find a real girlfriend or wife in the gulch, then you are in for a lot of heartbreak, deceit, and frustration.

I am more of a short term GFE guy.I enjoy the GFE for an hour or two but then am ready to send her on her way.I enjoy many outher things about Costa Rica.I enjoy the hunt for the right chicas experiencing the real culture of the country and touring all about the country as well.I like coming frequently to see the girls as well as see more of the country.Next trip will be no. 10 and still have many places unseen.I like to stay in the local areas visit local places and find the girls to be less hardened in these places.As my Spainish improves I may focus more on regular girls as I have no doubt that is the place to look for anything close to a real girlfreind situation.At this point not ready to put forth that effort .The pressent route has less hassels and is good for me at my point in life.rbc100

I was ruined on my first trip by finding a beautiful non-working girl outside of San Jose. Spending a couple weeks with her and not paying makes it hard to hand over the "cien" for a less attractive, well worn chica in the BM. Also, I enjoy Costa Rica's many other atractions such as the fantastic fishing.

For me, it was never been purely about the screwing around or even primarily about it. If it were, there are other countries I'd probably prefer to go. Costa Rica is a total package - a diverse landscape with beautiful countryside, mountains, beaches, rainforests and rivers, a warm and friendly people, a different culture (food, music, dance, a whole different ambiance and pace of life), a temperate climate, fun outdoor activities, etc. etc. I could go on and on.

To the extent, I do come for the pu*sy, though, I think I, like many vets, have experienced something of an evolution. Its easy for a long time visitor to become almost as jaded as many of the girls at the BM. It can get a little old and a little routine. Like all old-timers, we think longingly back on what we consider the good old days when things were better at the BM. Forget the fact that it is a much hotter market there now, the pricing has increased subtantially along with the growth. We adapt in one of two basic ways. Some like RBC have moved on to try and find the "undiscovered country" - the tico places that have not been spoiled "price-wise" by the influx of overspending gringo newbies. Others have moved on to try and find the non-pro who has not been jaded and/or spoiled by the nature of things at the DR/BM.

BTW, some would consider me a LAL guy or at best a GFFE for the hour. Actually, though I like variety as much as the next guy, I prefer a longer term GFFE. Its nice to know that one has a reliable regular that he can look up each time one returns to CR or that one can see several times over the course of your week's trip as a dinner companion, dance partner, travel guide or window into the reall life of an average tico. But just because its longer term doesn't mean I don't realize that any relationship with a girl one met in one of the Gulch venues is not really anything more than a GFFE and that even GFE's with 20 year old non-pro chicas are not really a sound basis for an LTR due to the unavoidable cultural and age differences.

I think that many veterans will agree that after you begin to recognize most of the regular hard cores the whole scene at the BM gets old.
I find it actually a bit sad to see those battle hardened chicas with all those tired lines hanging around doing business. At one time, they were a lot different before the DR.

I know for a fact after speaking with many of the veteran CR travellors that they would like to move on to a more meaningful relationship if given the opportunity.

After saying that, I don't have any problem with those guys that just want the sex. It's just a matter of personal preference.

I have several very attractive chicas that I see on a regular basis. They are non-DR chicas that I have originally found through different sources. They all provide a GFE to the max with me. I really like each of them. I have no intention of furthering a relationship with any one of them. I also like the thrill of the hunt at the DR. Very often,that new gem is just around the corner.One advantage of living here,or visiting often,is that you get to know who the hard-core regulars are. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference when you don't see the scene regularly. Some of the regulars are so adept at changing their appearance that I sometimes get fooled into thinking a chica that I have already been with is new.

My main priority for going to CR is for sex.

Since sex is so important to me as for other guys, it feels like I'm being satisfied on a spiritual level, hence all the emotional, mental and psychological discussions here.

I like to read all the posts and gain some insight, tips and advice that I can use in the future.

One observation I have is the availability of sexo makes everything else about Costa Rica more desireable.Costa Rica is a wonderful tourist vacation destination and is the total package for me.It may be one of the most biologically diverse places in the world in such a small space with access available to many.I guess my problem is I don't want to leave San Jose for very long because I do enjoy the immense options available there.rbc100

If you base your decision on what constitutes the average Costa Rica tourist from the posts on this board then you will have a very skewed result.
Most people who visit this country are here as tourists not mongers. It is an incredibly diverse country with amazing sites, destinations and a wealth of things to do.
Even mongers are not all that familiar with this board, check out how many at the BM on any given night at 5 - 5:30 PM, are remotely aware of happy hour.
This board has 2000 members hardly representative of the overall tourist visits.

To answer the question, yes I go to costa rica just for the sex with my 4th trip coming up this weekend. I don't give a damn about ltr & gfe. I don't want to see a beach or a volcano. I just want to phuck as many putas as my schlong can handle when I'm there. The rest of the time I'll eat, get drunk & gamble. That's all I really need. ymmv
