I expect gales of laughter from y'all Old Sweats, but as mi hermanos wingman, especially when he's "in session" at an MP, what? Hold his wallet, laptop, etc? I think I got the "watch his back" part , but what am I missing?

Why would a guy bring all that stuff with him to the MP? That's what the room safe is for. When looking for chicas I like to travel lite.

The best thing you can do as a wingman is to not let him bring all that shit with him. Never carry your wallet with you!! All you need is a copy of your passport and enough money for what ever activity you are getting into. If that is a MP, the most I brought with me was enough for the session and a couple drinks and my own condoms. What purpose does he need to bring his laptop to a MP other than to show the site to the chicas? All of this just targets you as a tourist and increases your chances of getting held up.

Repost from this link...

Quote:
Qualifications of a Wingman...according to Tman anyways:

1) Must have been laid sometime within the past 3 months

2) Must have enough money to not sweat the difference of paying $50 for a "4", or $80 for a "9"

3) No premature ejaculators...must be able to get the full hour of value with a chica.

4) Will not waste my time talking about all the ex wives or ex girlfriends who took him to the cleaners or didnt "put out".

5) Preferably someone who was able to get dates in high school and college...

6) Is not always asking me to translate or negotiate on his behalf

7) Isnt always asking me to float him a few bucks because he didnt bring enough money.

8 ) Isnt stupid enough to carry around megabucks in his pocket and then asking me to help him with the police when he gets robbed by a chica or street criminals.

9) Doesnt ask me to approve or disapprove of his choice of girls...especially if he doesnt want my true opinion. I dont judge people on their tastes nor expect them to judge mine.

10) Doesnt need to be around me every waking hour while I am trying to focus on which chica is NEXT!

In essense...be careful who you travel with. I have met many guys in CR who spent half their vacation placating a newby or weaker buddy in the sport...and resenting it.

Fortunately, in the CRT brotherhood, most guys you will meet are very qualified Wingmen

The most important, and least favorite, job of a wingman IMHO..

Entertain the, fat, butt ugly friend, while acting like you really want her, so your wingman can score with the hot one, and her smokin' hot body.

I hate that job almost as much as I hated having sex with my ex at the end of our marriage.

Health & happiness to all...

Steve - Santas Bro

I agree with you on that point SantasBro. Its REALLY uncomfortable when the hot one talking to your buddy keeps looking at YOU and kicking YOU under the table saying "rescue me" .

As for sex with the ex's...I dont know. Some of my best sex with the ex was at the end or during separation. Sometime I think emotions like anger, longing, sadness, etc can contribute to some interesting sexual encounters.

Wingman duties:
1. Don't get so drunk that you wing has to take care of you.
2. Don't let your wing pick up the hot blonde on the corner. Try to protect him from TLN with the coyote ugly one he may have to try to sneak out of the hotel the next morning. Try to protect him from the Columbiana at the Rey he just has to have regardless of the cost (Jason remember the $150 for 15 minute first experience. Better than the $300 you agreed to pay)
3. Don't get drunk and take him to a strip club. If you go to a strip club, one of you better be sober. If not take the credit card with the $500 max.
4. Be willing to sit outside and wait for your bud as he sessions at the mp.

Paid wingman duties:
1. Introduce newbie to the joys of San Jose, Women, Hotels, Restaurants, the local culture
2. Try to prevent people taking advantage of customer
3. Try to save the customer money
4. Cover his back while he is here on vacation, If his partying gets a little out of hand keep him from getting in trouble. Often the customer is his own worst enemy. Buying drinks and food for all the girls at the bar can get expensive fast. Taking two hot women to your room can get expensive if they are thieves.
5. Entertain the customer by knowing what is available and directing him towards things that he will find interesting.
6. Let him know what is available, what to bring, what it will cost, how and when and where to negotiate.

Good Thread to bring back, especially Brother Pops Post. I know all this stuff now; I sure needed the help then.

Is it taboo to have your wingman video your 1/2 session at a LRMP?

Key words--we have had enough snakes in the grass doing subterfuge as to almost ruin it for the straight-forward upright guys. If she says "NO!" or "for your private viewing only--no Internet", please respect that. Some few of these women have close folks that have no idea what they do or at least don't want it splashed all over the Internet.

Pops is the Dean, Chancellor and Guru of Wingman University! If you do get drunk that first night, then hit the room as I did. Listen to the advice of the pro wing. Imitate it as each kernel of paid advice is a lesson. A paid wingman is a way to become experienced at this hobby much quicker (and MUCH cheaper) than the school of hard knocks. Best advice for the money.
