Hi, I'm coming in on Sunday morning, early, and am renting a car. I've googled my butt off and can't find clear instructions on getting to Jaco using the new highway.
The part that seems the trickiest is from the airport to the new highway entrance. Does anyone have any tips?
BTW - I know a lot of people will cringe at renting a car and driving myself.. I've been driving in Panama for over two years, and I drive in the Philippines as well. I think Panama is the worst I've ever seen. I'm not worried about that.. plus, I'm going to be hopping all up and down the coast during my trip taking photos of some of the beach areas. It's far more efficient having my own vehicle.
BTW - I land at 9:15, Sunday, May 2nd. If anyone else is coming in at the same time, they can ride with me, no problem. However, only from the airport to Jaco - no side trips, and I'm not waiting around for later flights.. sorry, but this is a working trip. Also, I "may" stop a few times to take photos of a few spots along the way. I've got an SUV reserved, so should be plenty of room.
