Update....let's see....how do I put it? I'd say I'm working on becoming an "uncaring and selfish bastard, concerned only about their own need's". She went from not wanting to talk to me anymore to profusely apologizing, wanting to cook dinner for me, letting me know that she'd like a ring (as in finger ring), and surprise, she wants to have a baby with me. In the words of Lewis Black....are you phucking kidding me??!! Me thinks she needs a hefty dose of Lithium. Oh, and whenever I try to talk some "sense" into her and explain the impossibility of the situation, the whole language barrier thing conveniently comes into play. I hear "I dont understand, giggle, giggle". I dont know whats more insulting, the fact that she's trying to use me or the fact that she thinks I'm dumb enough to buy it. I'm truly beginning to see how easy its gonna be to become uncaring and selfish....

She's made no further mention of money tho, but knows that I'll be back down there later this month so I suspect she's saving the hard sell til then. I also find it curious as to her level of jealousy. I've seen it before with other chicas too. Common? It's OK for them to screw 5 guys a week, but if you just look at another chick, they act like its the end of the world. I guess its just part of their game to make us think they really give a shit?

I just want to thank all for the words of wisdom. Truly helped get me thru this. Gotta keep my guard up. Out of sight out of mind kinda stuff. Until my next voyage, that is....

Don't beat yourself up papi k. You are not the first or the last. Most just run and hide after it happens to them. The age thing is only relevent to the situation. I look at it, from my experience, that I would have had better success dealing with the BS if I WAS 20-30 yrs older than the chica. I dated a HDR bartender for about 6 months. We are the "same age" her -3yrs. I really thought that this "may" be different because of our age being so close. Never lost/spent $ (other than the normal wine y dine) but she got to me. Bottom line, if I was 25 yrs older than her, I think I would have known the deal. I think I would have been better off. End of the day, I found out she was fking a 60 yr old for $. Shocked, no. Pissed off for the time/heartache? Yep. End of the day, if they work in the whorehouse......

As has been said many times on this board, CR is a FANTASY playground. The quicker we know/understand this, be better trips we have in the future.

Don't be too hard on yourself, you lost nothing from the deal, and learned quite a bit.
