Ok guys I've been reading alot of post on this forum and I'm new here. Trying to plan out a bachelor to Costa Rica on Fourth of July weekend. Trying to find a nice hotel with good rates and chicas friendly. Some post that I read is old and some is new. Can someone update me on the hotel and info as of today. Meaning some who just has gone to Costa Rica in the last month. Thanks for all your help.

Most hotels we would recommend for you would be CRT Sponsors--to get the discount, suggest you pop the $39 for a years membership. Also most hotels are talked about constantly--what kind of accommodations were you seeking, for how long and for how many? We seek to help but need more of a hook to do so.

I'm thinking of staying at SL because they have a very nice penthouse suite. We are coming on July 1 and leaving July 5. But just in case we can't get SL then i would need other hotel to stay. And does anybody know any good restaurant around SJO. I know this is kinda off topic here because there other section for it. Does anybody have any good MP and Strip Club and maybe night club to go?

For that many people, maybe you should check the executive suites in the classified section here. They are close to the important places in SJ. Not to bust your chops, but if you've been reading a lot, you should have the answers to your questions about restaurants, MP's, and night clubs.

Since I figured you would ask , executive-suites is availbale, both penthouse suites. If you get VIP, should be relatively inexpensive for what you get. Now, your disadvantage, your first time in CR can be a little more complicated without knowing the chicas. So, SL, which will have a 20% discount at that time for VIP, might be better bcs chicas are on site. Do you need the penthouse at SL? Not really, they have nicer big rooms you can party in for a group of 5 and the others can get individual rooms. I do not know the rooms there and the info is hard to sort but check their website. The 4th is a busy weekend so don't wait.

Did you already check if the PH is available for those dates? SL sells out MONTHS ahead of time.


Are the 5 of you very close? The SL PH has 2 bedrooms, plus 2 sofas, and 1.5 bathroom. Not too much privacy for 5 people, unless you're 2 couples and a fifth wheel.

As others have pointed out, there are literally hundreds of topics on this board discussing hotel options. Do searches for Dunn Inn, Hotel Amistad, Hotel M, Hotel Castillo, Hotel Del Rey, etc. Look at the classifieds section at the ads for Executive Suites. You'll find all the information you need.

Again, all of this information is covered in mulitple topics on the board. I suggest you start with Orange's excellent "Costa Rica for Dummies" topic in the Newbies section.

See above. For MPs, most CRTers favor Hotel Little Havana, Relax, Idem, New Fantasy, in that order. For strip clubs, most CRTers avoid them like the plague, but try D'Pelufos in San Pedro, Pantera Rosa, or Le Grillon. For Night Clubs? Depends on what kind of scene you like.

I would like to thanks everyone who have help answer my question. I got the penthouse suite for the 4th of july weekend and one room. Wish me luck because this is my first bachelor party I'm doing. And I hope the guys will have fun. I got the confirmation number from SL already so the count down begin !!!!!!!!!

definitely five in the penthouse and one room is like two guys sleeping on the couch. not too comfortable i would think

We got the penthouse which sleep three and two extra room for the other guys. The penthouse is where we all going to hangout and get drunk

You guys are going to have a blast. My first trip was back in 1991 and it was for a friends bachelor party too. Brings back some great memories.
