As if what Mother Nature is doing isn't enough (Chile, Haiti, Iceland), we seem to be doing to ourselves (West Virginia, Gulf of Mexico, China). This is one terrible year...and it's not even half over. OK, now back to the regularly scheduled programming...a cerveza, and a warm, willing and skilled Chica, por favor.

Not totally convinced that shifting tectonic plates, etc. have much to do with a long-term climatic conditions but I'll accept the praise. My BTW is to list those 2 links in "News from elsewhere..." Forum..." or maybe "Transportation..."--they'd be more readily seen and thus more useful there. You don't perchance have an interest in these 2 businesses/sites, do you?

Amendment: I was big mistaken in what I said above as this article shows: In my defense, my shuck-and-jive is that the term "global warming" has been politicized to mean mankind's exacerbating already extant long-term natural forces and not those forces themselves...or whateverthefuck I just said:

I regret introducing this info to those who don't know about it yet ( 90 percent of the population.)
There are very advanced weapons being currently used by several nations against each other and they all have plausible deniability because its "crazy" to think that there are earthquake generating weapons and weather weapons. I can tell you that this is very real which is something I know for a fact and I will leave it at that. Expect these events to continue to escalate as the war intensifies and , eventually, it will be common knowledge.

Research scalar weapons, HAARP, tesla cannons, negative EMP weapons, longitudinal wave interferometers.
ICBM's and nukes are 60 years old technology and if you think that military weaponry has not evolved and advanced into even more horrible forms, you are lucky to be unaware.

I vaguely remember an article about the possibility of China causing a massive earthquake in the US by having every Chinese person climb up on a chair and jump off at the same time. The counterstrike to this from the US would be to have everyone here simultaneously jump from a higher surface. This would of course fail because all the increasingly fat populace of the US would have difficulty climbing onto the higher surface. I am going to learn Mandarin so that I can better suck up to my future Chinese masters.

I am gratified to to the response to what was an off-hand comment, a cry of angst if you will. Brother Haywood Jablommi's link is not so easily dismissed as a raving, as a Google survey of the topics will show. Deserving of attention, if not necessarily full-on belief without YOUR further research. Once again, I'm glad I'm as old as I am and thus will "pass" before Armageddon by whichever means comes to pass--my sympathies lie with those with descendants--they won't have it nearly as good as we in the "Sweet Spot" generation. A revolution of diminished expectations, if you will. What a bummer, maaan.
