report from the miami herald

Taylor's decision was sealed this week upon his return from a mini-vacation in Costa Rica. He had hoped he would return to South Florida and meet with Coach Tony Sparano -- a meeting Sparano requested and then postponed last week. But that meeting was never rescheduled, another hint to Taylor the Dolphins didn't want him back.

anybody see the dude?

:D

guess he was fishing or something

He must really not like D.C. or the Redskins. I thought he might have left there to retire as a Dolphin. Wasn't the last deal the Skins offered him over $10 million a year more than the Dolphins (and now the Jets)?

the thing with the Washington Turds is not so much to team, but the owner....you can't pay players enough to keep them there.

He really did want to retire a Dolphin. But the team kept refusing to make any commitment telling him they would talk after the draft. Pretty shabby treatment for a guy who played for Miami for 13 seasons and was a team leader.

But the NFL is pure business so none of that mattered in the end. Unfortunately for Jason he played his years for Jimmy Johnson, Dave Wanstead, Cam Camron and Nick Saban so the present Dolphin management neither cares about the past or really has any obligation to recognize and reward past performance.

It is no secret that he hated the Jets so he must really be pissed to sigh with them and will most likely really play it to the max in the two games against the Dolphins.

What a sad day in Fins history!!

I guess Jason needs to call Nick Saban and offer an apology. He was the one leading the charge to hate on Saban after he said he wasn't taking the 'Bama job, then took it the next day! Wasn't JT on record a year ago as saying, "I will never play for the Jets?" Hmmm...pot...kettle....

Yes...a sad day :(
