Interesting near-bookmark Thread...and not one answer on the order of "Dude, you're staying in what 99% of Gringos would think WAS a shopping mall". So JazzboCR the house smartass hadda say it...

Your reference to Dadeland was from the point that alot of/only Spanish or both Spanish Spoken and hot chicas?

The reference was to the amount of Spanish you hear in the Miami area would make it hard to see much difference between Multi plaza and Dadeland. It also was accompanied by   to indicate that is was not a complaint but rather just a fun aside thrown in.

When I lived in west Kendall and shopped at the Publix's in Lakes of the Meadow frequently I would never hear a word of English spoken from the time I walked in the door until the time I walked out the door. Again, not complaining just stating facts that those who are not familiar with South Florida might not be aware of how predominately Hispanic some areas are.

Kendall Lakes? Dadeland? Why not Key Biscayne, or the Miracle Mile or shopping on Brickell? Viva Ocho Calle! Little Havana, the Grove etc. it's all the US. Go shopping CR style and have fun!

Last I knew Key Biscayne had limited shopping. Miracle Mile was the place to go maybe 30 years ago. You know when the Douglas road anchor store was Sambo's not Denny's  . Brickell, Calle Ocho, the Grove for an upscale mall :?:  Get real. :P

I used Dadeland as an example because it was the first real mall in Miami and has undergone many additions and renovations to keep it a class A mall. If you want to disagree with my choice at least use an example that is upscale like Adventura Mall or Village at Merrick Park. That talking upscale.

If you came to Costa Rica to go to a Shopping Mall you came for the wrong reason. Maybe consider staying home in the usa and going to Wal*Mart, you can get free sex in the parking lot late at night then watch your instant replay on tv. There is nothing in Costa Rica worth buying that doesn't have legs.

And this will be the first time that I agree with Leadbonanza!
