Hey Guy's I am sponsoring a service and party in Florida's honor.
I need to know how many will be attending to figure out where and when to have it.
Sportsman's lodge is my first thought.
It's going to be a wild time I guarantee it. I have some wicked ideas.

This is a great idea Nuck, I'll bring the bullet proof vest for ya. lol I voted for the 29th Nuck pending any work issues. 7-3 won't work for me, thats right in my busiest time of the year. I hate owning my own business, I can't trust anyone to run it while I'm away and unfortionately it requires 24/7 availability.

I think Halloween would provide the best memorial for our amigo Florida. It was his favorite time of the year in CR.

Yes if I was to pick the very best time it would be Halloween too.
I just thought it was too far away.
But come to think of it It might be a whole lot safer for me then. Time does heal.
If most everyone is OK with Halloween that would be my vote too.

Several of us Tampa Bay Chapter members will be in CR the last week in May, so that would be a good time. I never met Tim (I just missed him at the DR one night last November (or August?)). I know LionKing knew him well.

It looks like most want Halloween and it works best with me too.
I just wanted to to it sooner for closure.
It is also my, along with Florida's, favorite holiday.
Not to mention I can disguise myself so I don't get my ASS kicked.

Some thoughts are;
Having the memorial the night before Halloween.

Having a Florida walking tour (and or cabbing it) to go to all of his favorite haunts. A day or two before.
Will bring a big photo along with his ashes to spread around.

A party so everyone can tell stories of their times with Florida.
Lord knows I have a bunch of good one's to chose from.

I firing range with me, DA Nuck, as the target. Hit me in the face or my balls and win a free blowjob.
In as much as you all would love for me to be all dressed-up as the incredibly sexy Rusty Amoroso and be giving the BBBJ's, sorry it ani't going to happen.

A dance & strip contest. I will take a pinch of his ashes and mix them with baby oil to be rubbed on the Chica's bodies.
Oh Florida is going to love that.!!!!

These are just a few of the things I got planned.
I will post again about a month before Halloween to see who all is going to show up.

Good luck with that one. I work with a Mexican crew, and one day at a mortuary they fired it up to cremate someone, and you would have thought a pit bull with aids was coming at them, they most certainly have never moved that fast at work, before, or since. They wanted no part of any ashes that may fall on them, and would not return to that area until there was no more smoke, or ashes, from the chimney.

IMHO:
It would seem to me that possibly a memorial on both dates would be nice, since many can make the first date. Honoring a man twice, that so many enjoyed, would be a nice remembrance. Memorials are as much for the living, as they are for those who have passed. All men who choose to honor him should do so in their own way, and in their own time. It may take many memorials for such a well loved man, but so be it.

May 29 works for me . I spent some time with Tim and LK. A couple of years back we went to the Memorial Day party at the M.

Has it ever been considered to have an annual memorial for all that pass away in that year and past years?
I do not believe Halloween would serve the proper venue, and may offend some. In consideration of the circumstances and collateral damage, maybe some time will heal.

Point well taken.
The memorial will be the day before Holloween.
But if you knew Florida well you would also know he would have preferred his memorial at that time.
He was all about having a good time. Yes there will be some tears, as it should be for someone so loved, and there will be a party because Florida wouldn't have it any other way.
