What is that supposed to mean? I've lived in CR for years and have been to pretty much every decent restaurant. Chubbs is a shithole. Uncomfortable to hang out in and it attracts douchebags. The food isn't that good either. Just not somewhere I'd hang out. There are alot nicer places to watch sports, but if you like Chubbs, they are probably out of your price range.

I was in Chubb's last night briefly and split the difference on the opinions. Would this be a primary "hang" for me? NO, but had a nice convo with a Swiss guy I met there. the beer was cold and cheap enough, the food looked good, the few Chicas I saw seemed friendly enough (not 10's but solid 5's and 6's), the 2 barmaids were friendly enough, each TV showed a different channel so what you wanted was on one of them. What do you want in a sportsbar? And remember this was a Sunday night at about 9PM.

Seems we need a little reminder with regards to forum decorum. Everyone has their right to their opinion about a certain establishment as long as it is done in a manner
which is consistent with the rules and regulations of the forum. Also any individual name calling or attacks that are continued will be dealt with having you removed from the site.

I've walked by there dozens of times. Never been in, but sounds like it's worth checking it out. I'll try it in about two weeks when I return.

Considering myself to be friends of both Jessica and Christina I convinced two buddies of mine to stop in and check out the new place. Many Big Screens to view with various games to view. Although Im sure there isn't a real need to mention that both Jessica and Christina look amazing and it was fantastic to visit weith them and catch up. The food quality was extremely poor and after 1:15 to wait for our order I probably will never eat there again. The drink prices seemed better than many places in that immediate area and the the two beauties will always be a reason to revisit. Perhaps things will improve in the kitchen over time....of course that is Tico Time....so it may take as long as the new Coastal Highway.

I have to agree with Bob here. Chubbs is nothing special, but I do like the many flat screens especially during college football. The food is decent enough, but the service is very hit or miss (nothing new in CR). The night bartender with black hair is horrible. One time I clocked her not serving me for 15min. the only reason she did was due to one of the girls working on the floor pointing it out to her...lol. Whatever. I think its a decent enough place to catch sports and have a cold beer. It's also a good starter spot for the many vices posters here enjoy so much in CR.
