When I held political office it was very common to share a drink or two with someone you had just spent time arguing the merits of an issue. Over they years I have continued to sit and have a drink with persons who I have had a disagreement with. Key to those situations was there was mutual respect between us.

That factor is missing in my dealings with you so I shall decline your invitation to share a drink with you.
