I plan to book a four-day trip next week for a to visit SJO over memorial day.
Main purpose P4P.
I have been to Thailand almost 20 times
Last year I took the first trip to Latin America (Brazil).
MrDK Does Brazil 2009

I have read a fair amount on this board and will be reading more.
I came across these two articles and wonder of they, from a monger's perspective, are factual.
Costa Rica’s Sex-Tourism Is Growing - Prostitutes Compete
Costa Rica's Sex Trade Sex tourism thrives in Costa Rica

I will likely book one of the hotels recommended here, like Sportsmen's or Del Ray (any other suggestions welcome).
The plan is to arrive into SJO on a Friday morning and departing on a Tuesday afternoon, so not much time I know

I wouldn't stay at the DR. SL, Dunn Inn, Castillo, Amistad, Freebird are all better choices.

If it were me I would arrive on Wed or Thurs, and leave on Sun or Mon.

Brother Gary2010--You might consider joining us as a paid member--the savings on discounts at the Castillo alone on the remainder of this trip will almost pay for the card, and you can pick it up at the HLH in San Jose. I'm sure Darren would let you apply the CRT discount to the balance of your time. And of course you'd roll up the other bargains on other trips this year. Actually a lot of Brothers (me most def' included) that wish we'd gone Lifetime from the start. Hey, no push from me--I'm just sayin'...

Well, that's a bummer. It means guys have to do a little more advanced planning--and with all that blood rushing to the "little head", that can be tough...

Well, booked my room at Sportmen's.
Illusion room; 4 nights (28 May - 01 Jun 2010).
Any CRT BM's in town that weekend?

Thanks for the help (especially Cujo)
Now I just need access to sign up for VIP.

Did you mean to say 28 MAY - 01 Jun ? I suspect that is the case as you said 4 nights (28,29,30,31 leaving on the 1st?) and mentioned Memorial Day in your earlier post. Check the roll call section to see if any members have posted an itinerary where you may be able to hook up with them. And enjoy your first visit!

My wingman just got his Lifetime CRT card and it took less than a week to get it.

You can now pick up CRT cards at the Dunn Inn.
