I was wondering if anyone stayed in the private bath rooms at the Tiquicia? How is the hotle in general? Also are the standard rooms at the Castillo adequate for a weeks stay? Any other info will help.

I would think it would not be a fun trip if you spent it in the bathroom. Even if it is private.

Tiquicia is more a hostel than a hotel.

Castillo is a Hotel.

My Wingman and I were going to stay at Tiquicia in Feb for a night. Do to the unavailiblity elsewhere(SL, DI, LA etc.) We came down a day early and were in a jam. My wingman wanted to check it out, since it was a new CRT advertiser and it would be only one night.

The room I booked was supposed to have a double bed. On arrival around 3pm I was told it was unavailable eventhough I had reserved it. They were trying to convince me to stay in a room with a single bed, which appeared to be smaller than a single and the "private bath" was no where near the room. The private bath was at the end of a hall. It required walking thru the main area of the Hostel in order to get to it.

So I ran to the closest Hotel I knew of HLH. And thank god they had some rooms available.

The answer to your question is a no brainer. CASTILLO!!!

Brother MrLV did answer your question exactly and precisely as you asked it. English is a funny language, isn't it? A hot cup of coffee vs. a cup of hot coffee...that sort of thing.
Hotel Castillo it is.
