Freddymz,

There is nothing wrong with the Hemingway. The Castillo next door is a better option. For a little more money you can get a room at SL or La Amistad which in my opinion are more fun. The rooms at the Hemingway are very basic, clean, small and the people friendly and helpful. I stayed only once about ten years ago, and the people staying there in that occasion were eco-tourists, not mongers. I have not stayed there since, so it may have changed. Again, nothing wrong, it’s just not my first choice. Cheers,

That thing about a TLN charge at the Hemingway is funny--it's saying to me "Do what you do, Monger, but don't mix your Chica in at breakfast with our eco-tourists."

Freddymz,

Make a reservation for one night at the Hemingway. Once you are there, walk next door, to the Castillo's front desk, and Marta the receptionist, who speaks decent English, will be glad to take care of you.

Check your junk mail / Spam inbox. There was a time when Castillo's emails were considered "junk mail" by my yahoo account.

The Dunn Inn is great. I stayed there a couple of months ago and there were mongers as well as regular tourists from Frost-Bite Falls, Minnesota. It was very comfortable, friendly and reasonably priced.

I stayed at Hemingway about 10 years ago too. The room was basic. The patio out back was great.

nice hotel but not chica friendly--the $15 chica fee is a fact-not a monger place at all

Rider is correct--unless you are a CRT Brother. The first post here and the PAID MEMBER Discount list reflects this as well. And the list of discounts grows all the time. Viva CRT!
